I originally saw Dr. Cooperman for the first time years ago, when an army medical examiner told me he thought I had a problem with my optic nerves. The true problem ended up being detached retinas, which Dr. Cooperman diagnosed, and later performed the needed surgery to repair them. Surgery was flawless and recovery was extremely fast & pain-free. Many years later, at an annual check-up visit, it was Dr. Cooperman who first detected the formation of cataracts in my one eye and recommended an excellent doctor who could take care of that for me (Dr. Cooperman is strictly a retina specialist) Dr. Cooperman's "bedside manner" is excellent. He takes his time with his patients and explains things thoroughly - he never rushes or 'talks down to you' like some doctors do.
