The Orange County Zoo is tucked away inside the fun and beautiful Irvine Regional Park. (which is in the city of Orange!) You can make a whole day of this trip. The zoo houses animals native to California...coyotes, owls, hawks, a bear, mountain lions and more! Afterwards, wander into the park...which is over 400 acres! You can ride horses, rent paddleboats, ride a childs train, feed the ducks and more! Be prepared to pay a small fee for most things here...but nothing that will break the bank!
