If you are like me then you will love Cafe TuTu Tango in the Block of Orange. It has a lot of personality and displays lots of artwork from local aspiring artists. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is always quick. What I love best is the concept of the restaurant: they only have appetizers and no entrées. So each person chooses a few and you end up with a sampler of lots of different foods. They have your basic mini pizza's and salads, but they also have some really exotic things to try like alligator bites (they are actually amazing), southwestern egg rolls, and much much more. If you like creme brulee then try theirs as they have a great version. They also have a huge bar, indoor and outdoor patio style seating. I recommend reservations or getting their early especially on the weekends. Although usually small parties are sat quickly and they give you pagers so you can walk around and look at stores while you wait. But be warned: at first it seems cheap, because the appetizers range in price from 6 to 10 dollars, but it can add up quickly. With drinks, appetizers and gratuity look around spending 30 dollars a person, but it is well worth it.

I forget what I ate here, because it was forgettable. I do remember the sangria being very good, but really, how can you mess up sangria?
The servers and bartenders were rude when I was there. It seemed like one of those places where I wasn't fancy enough to deserve good service. I went in willing to plunk down a lot of money on drinks. I ended up getting a little sangria and leaving no tip. They did that thing where they just refuse to meet your eye and serve everyone around you.
Maybe I just had a bad experience, but I don't think it's worth the cost and going to the Block to try again.

It's ok for snacks and drinks but I wouldn't go there again for a meal.

This restaurant is very fun. The servers are saucy and very interactive. The food is delicious but not recommended for a hearty meal. This is more of a "relax after work" type of place or an "enjoy appetizers with friends" type of place. The ambiance is very nice, especially at night. The restaurant is decorated with real artwork that you can buy. This gives the restaurant a very nice personal feel.
