The Todai Restaurants are up and coming for a good reason: They offer quality Japanese food at a reasonable price. Come early and come very hungry, as this is an "all you can eat" restaurant. If you like fresh sushi, but don't want to pay the high prices of a traditional sushi bar, this is the place for you.

The food is pretty good considering for a buffet but its not really worth the money. The sushi is mediocre, but isn't bad when you consider its a buffet.
The place is pretty sanitary and you can see most of the chefs preparing the food which is nice.
They're pretty prompt with the service (clearing plates, refilling drinks) but you can tell they're used to handling volume rather than individual attention.
They have a selection of desserts which are kind of cute and bite sized.

The trick with Todai is to eat past the cost of the sushi. Don't mess around with the cooked food. Stick to the sushi. If they have sashimi, go crazy because then you don't have the rice as filler. If you have the sushi and leave behind the rice, you can get busted.
I don't think Todai is worth the price at dinner. I think they add lobster and crab legs to the buffet and charge an extra $10. But for lunch, this can be a great way to gorge yourself on a sushi craving.

I love this place. This is the best place for all you can eat sushi/ seafood buffet. Its about $25 per person for dinner but it is totally worth it. My boyfriend and I always end up eating way more than $25 worth of food. They have sushi, seafood, teppan and great desserts. It is also located in the mall so you can shop before or after. This place is great. There is usually a short wait for dinner, but only about 10 minutes at the most. Great food here.

Okay, maybe it's not quite a quarter oof a mile, but it seems that way. I'm always funny aboout sushi, especially of the buffet variiety. But the foood mooves off the buffet so fast at this place, it's probably fresher than what yoou might ger at a real sushi bar. There are a variety of Japanese dishes here at this uber buffet. The price is reasonable foor what you get, and if youu're like me, the place loses mooney on you. Ask about their birthday club for extra discounts. Lunch is a better valuue than dinner.
