At least the wait was short on a Friday night. A few of us shared the nachos which was suppose to be HUGE, but was pretty typical of a nacho plate. The chicken wings are incredibly hot, which did not sit well with me, but those of you that like it that way will enjoy it.

I did not find the food here exceptional. The portions are small. However, the ambiance is very nice. The people are friendly and it's one of those eating experiences at the Block that you might want to try once every so often. I would recommend testing out some of their appetizers. Their spicy dishes are pretty good.

I like the beer here. And I completely forget which ones I have had, I just remember they are good. I tend to like darker beers, reds and stouts if that helps. They also have one of those samplers if you want to try a variety of what they brew. The food is pretty typical of what you might think of from a brewery place. Lots of fried foods, burgers, random pasta, etc. It's not the best, but not the worst. I think this place is better for drinks and fried snacks to accompany drinks.

Though in an arguably rough neighborhood, this is one of a few decent eateries in the Block at Orange, so if you're not terribly adventurous, this is probably where you're eating. The food is a bit overpriced, but the food is decent (think Chili's) and it's not some part of some huge corporation's plot to take over the world, which is a rare occurrence on orange county. There's some more exotic fare for the adventurous, but this is mostly a place for comfort food, plain and simple, but well done and with a staff that is quite friendly given the restaurant's shady surroundings. Just don't go on Friday or Saturday nights when it's hard to tell if you're at the block, or the Riverside Swap meet.
