The 1940s introduced wearing gaudy Hawai'ian patterned shirts and fashion history was made. I love this shop because it reminds me of the 1940s and big oversized Hawai'ian prints! They have the best selection (outside Hawai'i) of these shirts! The little souvenirs are wonderul. No one pressures you to buy anything and it is a great place just to take a walk around to see what is on display. The surf stuff is a bit on the high priced-side, but the store is designed for folks who want to be surfers or who are just starting out and don't know where to find the basics. This store is wonderful place to enjoy the feeling of Hawai'iana! A must see for anyone who hasn't been!

You know how when you get into a sport you have to go out and buy a TON of new stuff? Well, this is the place to go. They have used stuff that is still in good shape, because of this the prices are really cheap. It works great if you are like me and tend to get over the sport as quickly as you started it. They always have a good variety but they might not have your size or what you need so go early!

Hot skates company in Orange california started out a small shop and is now the biggest skate shop in the OC. They sell every skateboard brand under the sun as well as wheels and trucks and grip tape etc. They also have a Hot Skates that is strictly for inline skates as well. Hot skates also sells clothing and skate shoes and all the necessary safety equiptment for kids just learning. They also sell watches and stickers and other fun skate related items. Parking is a bit difficult since it is located in the "circle" , parking is mostly on the street.

although if you don't live by the orange mall it can take at least 20 minutes to get there, the sales are worth it. The people who work there are very nice and make you feel like home. Everytime i go there to get something ive always been able to get it, never dissapointed me.

This is one of those little stores, unlike the national chains, who really treat you as a valued customer. We found them to be very knowledgable and helpful. They specialize in BMX's and offer all kinds of racetrack information. They have been in business since the 1980's, because they truly care and are a first rate kind of place. We have been having our bikes serviced here for years and are always happy with the service. Highly recommend.

Holiday Roller Rink has been in Orange forever. When I was a child our elementary school used to have family night there. Funny thing is , now i'm grown and have my own family and they still have family night for the schools at holiday. they have of course remodled several times throughout the years. It's a very fun family atmosphere. Lots of parking outside and really good prices for skate time and skate rental. They have an awesome snack bar inside as well. Fun times !

The Games Workshop store at the Block in Orange, CA is a typical GW Store. Well stocked sales area, nicely painted figures are on display and the staff are always available. The friendly staff are very willing to answer questions about the GW games and have their own armies that they are keen on playing with.
The one big downside to this store is its small size. There are two small games tables but it would be difficult to enjoy a game if other people were shopping at the same time that the game was going on.

A great middle of nowhere just outside of the OC : while driving the many miles through this coompletely wild wilderness area, one thought comes to mind: why hasn't this place been developed yet? It's 10 minuutes from Irvine and borders the ritzier section of Orange (in the Hills) - yet hoousing prices are going through the roof because there's no more land???? Whatever thhe reason, it's okay by me, this stretcch makes for a nice drive through canyons and up cliffs. There is even a wildlife sanctuary just past the biker bar, cooks corner.

Turner's has a wonderful selection of fishing, hunting, and shooting supplies. They even reline fishing poles and sell bait and licenses. They have a very knowledgable staff that is well-trained in their specialties. They are moderately priced but provide timely and high-quality work. I would definitely recommend to others. The store is easy to navigate and well-stocked.
