The staff here give great service. The food is yum! The pastas are great. It gets a little pricey on holidays (i.e. Valentine's Day). This place is nothing fancy but great little local restaurant.

This amazing restaurant is a hidden secret that we found tucked away in Orange. The pastas, seafood and salads were far superior to other restaurant that are well none and much more expensive. The bread was delicious and just out of the oven. The meal was topped off with an incredible dessert. Making the evening complete was super service and attention given to guests. If you are looking for outstanding Italian cuisine, look no further than Trattoria Barolo. The restaurant is romantically decorated and lit, yet simple and tasteful. Gian Franco, the maitre'd, is gracious, entertaining and classy. It does not hurt that he is from Milan, Italy, and undertands the need for outstanding food and the spirit in which it should be served. Try the rissoto, which is always good, and the veal chop is out of this world. It is the only restaurant in the city where you can get rissoto to order. All dishes are outstanding and the sauces are AUTHENTIC, which is very, very, rare. Very reasonable pricing, too.
