Great Old-time feel 9/6/2005

If you want to fill a prescription, buy over-the-counter supplies or buy old fashioned candy, this is the store for you. Great service and homey feel...It isn't as competitively priced as a larger chain but it's nice to support the little guy. The store is well-kept and the employees are all very helpful. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Orange. more

Fun 60's adventure 9/2/2005

I used to enjoy this restaurant a lot about 5 years ago. These days, the restaurant seems to have lost its magic. The food is okay. They make a great BLT and rootbear float. I wouldn't recommend their dinners so much. This restaurant is a good lunch place though. It's decorated in 60's style and has a really oldies type of feel. more

If you're into bad food with lots of nostalgia 8/23/2005

Watson's is super mediocre in terms of food. It's similar to any coffee shop, except it is old. I have to give them a star for being authentically old and not pseudo old. And they have good milkshakes. But mostly it always seems a little bit dirty, over crowded with huge families and overpriced. If you want the nostalgia, just walk into the shop and pharmacy. more

Good burgers 8/4/2005

Watson's is a great burger joint located in the circle on Chapman and Glassell. It's along a pretty busy street, so the outdoor seating is always ideal, but the 50's diner look inside is definitely appealing. The hamburgers and shakes here are great...I know there were a few times that I went here just for their shakes. The prices are reasonable and the service is quick. They often have specials that make the prices even more accomodating. Definitely check out this place if you are in the area...great for the whole family. more
