I have never had a bad experience in this office or with this doctor. Like the vast majority of other posters, I fail to agree with the scathing review of Dawn S. I suspect one should consider the source. In any case, hats off to Dr. Diercks and his staff for operating a top notch practice!

I have been to a few other psychiatrists and psychologists over the years. I don't think I was properly diagnosed or treated until I came to Dr. Diercks. What other doctor will answer your calls outside of office hours? If you ask me, Dawn S. (the only critical review) has a screw loose!

I know for a fact that Dr. Diercks gives away more charity care than any psychiatrist in town. He never acts rushed with me, and is always willing to take a few extra minutes if I need it. His staff is equally dedicated. When I read the one negative review, I just had to think there are some people who can never be pleased even with the best. You rock, Dr. Diercks!

I don't know what Dawn S. is talking about. I hardly have to wait to be seen and never feel rushed at all. Dr. Diercks has obviously tried to make the office very comfortable for patients. There is a computer and WiFi to use. In fact, that is where I am writing from now. There are alot of clowns out there practicing psychiatry and I am grateful everyday to have a fully competent caring doctor. Beth is super nice too!

Dr. Diercks is sooo nice and intelligent. I could not ask for more in a doctor. His office staff is friendly and goes out of their way to make every visit pleasant. The office is beautifully decorated and has the best selection of magazines I have ever seen in a waiting room. This is certainly not what you would expect if the doctor had dollar signs in front of his eyes like Dawn S. suggests. Sometimes people can't be helped even by the best psychiatrist in town!

After seeing several doctors who over-prescribed medications to me (often incorrect medications), I came upon Dr Diercks. He gave me my life back, my husband his wife back, and my son his mother back. I feel better than I have in years, probably since I was born. He is an excellent doctor, listens to your concerns, and is careful with the medications and amounts he prescribes. Excellent staff as well that are always helpful.

Dr. Diercks is very busy and it is easy to see why. He shows a very caring attitude, like all of his staff. He spent extra time with me when I needed it, and was able to diagnose me and treat me appropriately when I had years of treatment by other doctors that did not improve my case. His office is very comfortable, and I never had problems parking--although I think I wouldn't mind walking to a good doctor.

Negativity will not get you better, but a visit to Dr. Diercks's office will. He knows his Psychiatry well; better than most in this area. If you want a therapist, go to a therapist. But if you want to regulate and manage your medication, as well as get the right diagnosis, Dr. Diercks is your answer. His office is always under reconstruction, giving it a constant airy feeling. The staff is competent and kind. He does not see dollar signs, but does see potential in patients who appear to do what he prescribes. His directions are clear, which may not be right for someone not looking to get better. If you are committed to taking the right steps to manage your own healthcare, then the doctor is experienced, thorough and sincere. He does dictate his notes in front of his patients, I agree, but I would rather know what the doctor is saying about me rather than guess what he thinks. I don't pay to be listened to and not told the truth; rather, I pay to know how to get better.
