This is a local phone service which gives advice, referrals and support for those locally in need. It can be a homeless person, a victim of domestic abuse, child neglect etc! The phone lines are answered by well trained volunteers who empower others to resolve their issues/problem themselves. They also have a lot of referral phone numbers and can advise where to obtain financial assistance ,food or other services locally. As a prior phone line volunteer i recommend them to those seeking help of any type. This is not a drop in shelter and the location is kept confidential so you have to call the office. No one goes to the center directly.
