Since the 70's, I've gone to DD's. It is as good today as the first time I went to their old, quaint location with all the crazy posters. My husband chooses DD's everytime we drive through Oly. I Crust is yeasty but thin and the toppings are high quality, not "plastic-y". Highly recommend it! Great value, too.

I used to visit Dirty Dave's back in the mid to late 1970's (the Lacey, Wash., location). Loved it then and recently went back 30 plus years later -- thrilled to discover the food, atmosphere and service as great as ever! Highly recommended! My favorite is the Gay Nineties Special with Pepperoni, Sausage and Cashew Nuts! Great sauce and thin crust as well. Note: Matt Groenig, originator of "The Simpsons", frequented Dirty Dave's while attending Evergreen State College.

While one can't help but enjoy the numerous funny and interesting decorations, I go to dirty dave's for the food. Their signature Jake sandwich is one of the best I have ever eaten. I also recomend the pizza, which is crunchy and has a distinct taste that really sets it apart from your average pizza. I highly recommend this to restaraunt for anybody who is looking for great food in a fun atmosphere.

This place is really fun. Though, by any standards I rate the actual food less than marginal. The pizza has a lot of oil/grease. But, you don't go to Dirty Dave's for the food as much as your surroundings. Imagine a truck stop in a retro hotel from the 70's but not as much glitter as there is junk all over the place.
