Dr. Burghardt started out by being MY foot doctor for an ankle sprain that happened at work that the insurance and the doctors associated with them tried to say wasn't real. Dr. Burghardt believed me; he's the ONLY doctor that really listens to me about my ankle. Then my diabetic husband started to see him. My husband has a diabetic foot ulcer that got pretty bad, as those things can with diabetes. Dr. Burghardt not only prevented him from getting Cellulitis,a serious systemic infection which he's had multiple times and has put him into the hospital in the past, but he is being very proactive and serious about treating the ulcer. He used EVERY treatment short of admitting my husband into the hospital. He has to have an outpatient treatment twice a day and because we are an hour's drive from the Olympia area where Dr. Burghardt's office is, Dr. Burghardt worked with my husband's GP here to arrange the treatments so that my husband can be at home, instead of in a hospital an hour away from home. There is another treatment that requires in home care that Dr. Burghard ordered and made sure got set up. Because of Dr. Thomas Burghard, my husband is not going to lose ANY part of his foot, like many diabetics (including my husband's diabetic brother who lives in another state). The ulcer is healing nicely and my husband will have full function of his foot, thanks to Dr. Burghardt. I'd recommend him to anyone and already have, many times.

I was a client for a few months. At first he was ok. I am not happy with the last couple of visits. I waited 30 minutes in the waiting room and 30 minutes in the exam room. I also noticed that I waited longer to be seen. Patients that came in after me were seen first. When he finally did come into the exam room, Dr Thomas was so rushy. He only spent 5 minutes with me. He did not ask if I there was anything else I needed. He said I will let you go, got up and was heading out the door. I had to say I am not finished. He stood up while I asked my questions. I feel like I am not important and he does not care. He is not professional and I will not waste my time or money with him.
