This place is like hanging out in a friends room from 6th grade. It is plastered with old posters from the 80's and has a few vintage video games and pinball machines. The slices of pizza are affordable and so good! You can grab a beer and relax while running into everyone you know.

Old School is my favorite pizza restaurant in Olympia. Great New York Style pizza perfect with a can of Olympia beer. Price is very affordable and you definitely get more than what you pay for.

In my most humble opinion the best New York style pizza outside of the north east. With classic ingrediants you'd expect and outside ingrediants fresh from local growers like artichoke hearts and asiago cheese imported from Europe each step in preparing your lunch or dinner is well calculated and sure to put a smile on your face. However if you find yourself pushing 70 this atmosphere may not be for you as it was plucked from the 80's and shares a underground charm much like the classic pheonix underground. If you feel the need for a single slice or a whole pie theyre happy to oblige.
Quality 10/10

This is the perfect Pizza. It is what it says it is "Old Skool" this is the great type of pizza we would get Little Italy in Cleveland back in the 60's and 70's. Unpretentious, the real deal, no Lotus Blossoms, Colonics or Oxygen Bars, just Pizza as God meant it to be in the Genesis of Pizza. Don't get me wrong every once in a while I want a good olive oil, goat cheese, calamata, hearts of palm and swordfish ceviche slice. This is the stuff you could eat day in and day out. You run in grab a slice of pepperoni and a drink and run out. This is everybodys pizza. The crust isa creation you could eat by itself, the texture, chewy enough but not too much and puffs aromatic yeast and fragrant bread in every bite. The sauce is placed on in the correct balance as to be pesent but not coquering like Napolean taking out a village in Bavaria. The other ingrediant are portioned with the same care ending in a portrait Italian street fare worthy of note in anyones book..

Old School serves the best New York style pizza around, available by the slice (with multiple daily specials) or by the pie. A slice of cheeze--a dependable standby--goes for $1.50. Quality beers on tap. Old school has the ambiance of a teenager's bedroom circa 1983 with ear-splitting music to boot. If you don't like it, take your pie home.
PROS: delicious pizza, friendly service
CONS: loud atmosphere
