Before you visit any jewelry store in the mall, be sure to visit the independant jewelers around the area. One great example of this is Medawar Jewelers. They have locations around Lansing and in Jackson, I believe.
Their prices and quality actually beat the larger stores like Zales, JB Robinson, etc. I only wish that I would have visited this store before I purchased the diamond engagement ring for my wife a few years ago from Zales. Their service is horrible, Medawar, however, is excellent.
They have a huge selection and are always eager to help you choose the perfect item.

I always hate going to an attorney and they waffle between a fixed rate and a contingency fee schedule. Here they were very up front and I was pleasantly pleased with the end results. I felt like I made out like a bandit because their services were just great and very knowledgeable. I know that many many of my friends will be referred to them because of how professional they are.

When you need somebody to represent you in the courtroom as opposed to an attorney who really does not have any litigation experience, or very little litigation experience, you will find that Richard Lowe has a tremendous set of skills. He is confident on his feet and doesn’t let the details bog him down. I wish I could be as organized and smooth as he is in the courtroom.

I joined the SECU (State Employees Credit Union) when no one else in the area would give me an auto loan (long live the low credit score). In any case, they financed me, gave me a huge APR, and I was off in my new (used) car.
I was unaware that this credit union even existed until I was suggested to them by the car dealership, and I have since grown to like them. Their staff is friendly, their rates are fair (if you have a high credit score), and there are several locations in the Lansing Area.
Recommended.
