Classic Water Slides

It's a great place! We have been taking our kids there for 15 yrs! Now those of you that gave reviews about safety issues are just irresponsible yourselves! first of all, your 16v yr old deserves what he got to be going down the baby slide....obviously you weren't teaching him correctly. It's a " baby" slide and like everything made for a specific size, 16 yr olds are obviously too big, so of course you would been at great risk for injury! It's not rocket science, it's about parenting! Take some responsibility! As well as the lifeguards issues, well that is different from yr to yr but what I do know is parents seem to want to and do just drop their kids off and expect employees to babysit. The guards job is to make sure they don't drown, not anything more. Now if parents don't watch their kids that's on them. The safety of YOUR kids is your job first than the guards, not the other way around!! You ignorant people need to stop blaming others and learn to take responsibility!! Be parents, my goodness! The only time we might have had a small injury was when my oldest was doing what we warned him not to do. You think he ever did that again? Nope! Further more we blamed him not the workers! We go to water parks a lot and my husband has saved several kids that were struggling, so it's bound to happen anywhere, but those guards have a lot to watch for, I've stood up there and observed like they have to and honestly I respect them because just that was too much to take in! Parents need to be responsible, they're your children!!! more

There should be a limit of people allowed there. more

This place is dangerous! The lifeguards do not monitor what is going on. In fact, one shared with me that a man recently broke his neck on their blow up slide. Also, it is so dirty! I was worried about the cleanliness, especially, when I noticed that they didn't have and toilet paper. Lastly, the food handler cleaned and bandaged a wound right in front of me, and without washing her hands, proceeded to work and touch food!!! First and last time for me! more

Its a great way just to get away super fun for the hole family it is a little bit over priced and may be small but it is still a blast for everyone but mostly kids 6-14 and all ages have to pay more

We weren't happy that the policy was "no outside food allowed" (and they will check your bag). So forget bringing your own healthy snacks for your toddler or children. Only hot dogs, nachos (fake cheese) or pizza. I chose to stay shorter time and will never go back. Too busy, not worth it, not as good as hoped. more

Lines are short, slides are fast! A little reckless even. This place is how a water park should be! Bring your kids and watch out for the last turn on the baracuda!! more

My 16 yr old son was on the baby slide.....Was not doing anything stupid, just going down the slide, was going so fast at the bottom of the slide his knee came up and hit him in the mouth and caused one of his front teeth to be pushed back. If it wasn't for the permanent retainer in his mouth, he would have lost his tooth. Took him to the dentist and found out that he had three fractured teeth and possibly fractured the bone. The day before this happened to my son, a little girl was on a slide and both of her front teeth were pushed up into her gums. I have tried to get a hold of someone to tell them they need to do something to make this safer for kids, but their voice box has been full! Now you can make the call on whether you want your kids going! more

Slides are good but the lifeguards need to be trained to enforce rules and take action on bad behavior. Very dangerous because the lifeguards let kids do as they please without boundary. I witnessed accidents and numerous potential for serious injury...the lifeguards watched and did little or nothing and the behaviors still continued. One child was injured and the lifeguard just watched the boy cry. Some ice was finally offered as the boy was bleeding from his mouth, eye, and chin. Tried to contact the water park but only got a recording so I could not voice the need to retrain the lifeguards. Hope this post catches their attention. more

Classic Waterslides was a blast. My kids loved it there. Don't be confused about the size of the place. Their slides are some of the best I have ever been on. they also have two inflatable slides as well. with a season pass of only $25.00 I don't know how you can go wrong with that. more

Classic Waterslide Park is a fun place for kids in the summer. They are located on the other side of the Viaduct on riverdale road. Its kind of hidden if you aren't familiar with the area. They only have the three water slides but they are pretty long and they are fun. They have a few video games in side as well. Right now they have a special punch pass available for about $10.00 to get you through the rest of August. This should keep your kids entertained in the warm month of august. more
