Wiseguys has been around Ogden a while. It was called Laughs prior to that. It has since moved and its still a lot of fun to go to. Admission is $10.00 per person but there is always a 2 for 1 coupon on their website. They ask that each person buy something from the bar or snack bar. They have a nice wait staff and they like you to tip your waitress which is no biggie if they do a good job.
The comedians are usually really good. Sometimes it gets a little repitious and they seem to rotate the same people in every night. I have been there multiple times and I enjoy going back to see some of my favorites and the new comers. I just wish they would bring back the hypnotist shows.

The Tree House Childrens musuem is a good place for younger kids. They read the children stories. There is arts and crafts. Their are computer and huge maps. There are the options for the kids to role play and pretend. This is done in a very fun and brightly colored enviornment. They are currently working to build and relocate the Childrens musuem to a newer pary of town and we are excited to go to this new location when its open.

Ogden Raptors are a Single A Short Season Pioneer League Team. They have an affiliation with Los Angeles Dodgers. The ball park is amazing. It really has made the city a nicer place. The stadium is almost always packed. Tickets are about $8.00 per person for box seats. General Admission is a little bit cheaper. I have heard they will be expanding the stadium soon. There isn't a bad view in the place. The mountains are amazing. There are plenty of things to eat and drink at the stadium. But its your typical ball park food and the typical ball park prices. Parking is a little bit of a trick though. They need to address that situation. Some nights there can be as many as 5,000 fans in the stands which is basically a sell out crowd.
Its a great activity to take your family and kids too. Your looking at about $40-50 if you are talking a family of four and you eat at the ballpark. Sometimes there are special coupons in the paper and in the mail so definitely check those before you go.

Nickelcade is an arcade that requires nickels! There is a flat rate of $2.25 to get in. My wife and I frequently find coupons for two for one and other discounts. They have a wide variety of video games. They also have some games like air hockey and soccer. There are some ticket games which allow you to redeem your tickets for prizes. My wife and I can go in there with about ten dollars and spend several hours in there. By that time we are ready to go but we still had a great time. Its also a good place for kids. I would recommend you supervise them though.

The Motor-Vu Drive in is one of the best ways to see Movies in the warm months in Utah. The Motor-Vu is the last of a few Drive in Movie Theaters left in Utah. Its a fun experience that everyone should do at least once in their lives.
The admission is $6.00 per person for adults and $2.00 for those ages 5-11. My daughter is 18 months so she gets in for free, but she obviously sleeps through the whole thing. You get two movies for that price. There are four screens but they discourage screen hopping. The movies are usually paired well. Get early to get a good location. Especially on weekends.
You may bring in your own food and drink. My wife and I like to bring in Pizza. We like to meet friends there. It makes for good times. They do have a snack bar and have popcorn and pizza and other goodies. Your typical move theatre prices though.
They pump the sound through a FM system so be sure to bring a radio if your car doesn't have fm. (Whose doesn't these days though?)

Eccles Dinosaur Park is a wonderful place to take your children. The trails wind around forever, so the entire family gets wonderful exercise. Lots of shade trees to keep adventurers from getting overheated. There are plenty of tables set up, so you can take a lunch or a snack to eat. The dinosaurs are amazing and very entertaining for children. Inside the museum are robotic dinosaurs that walk and growl at each other in a life like fight. Also a little playground for the little ones to play on. Be sure to take a camera-park includes dinosaur and rider cut outs you can put your head through to look like you are riding on the back of a dinosaur-the kiddies love it. Amazing place to take the family for an afternoon of fun.
Pros: Great adventure, fun for the family, very affordable.
Cons: Nada.

The Country Club Movie Theathre is where all the popular movies go after they have had their run in the big movie theatres. Admission is $2.00. They just updated to a new surround system. Sometimes the movies have visual distoritions in them, but hey they have been run hundreds of times before they hit the theatre I would imagine. Its not some place I'd go on a date, but I would go see a movie there that I wasn't willing to pay seven dollars somewhere else.

Classic Waterslides was a blast. My kids loved it there. Don't be confused about the size of the place. Their slides are some of the best I have ever been on. they also have two inflatable slides as well. with a season pass of only $25.00 I don't know how you can go wrong with that.
