Eccles Dinosaur Park is a wonderful place to take your children. The trails wind around forever, so the entire family gets wonderful exercise. Lots of shade trees to keep adventurers from getting overheated. There are plenty of tables set up, so you can take a lunch or a snack to eat. The dinosaurs are amazing and very entertaining for children. Inside the museum are robotic dinosaurs that walk and growl at each other in a life like fight. Also a little playground for the little ones to play on. Be sure to take a camera-park includes dinosaur and rider cut outs you can put your head through to look like you are riding on the back of a dinosaur-the kiddies love it. Amazing place to take the family for an afternoon of fun.
Pros: Great adventure, fun for the family, very affordable.
Cons: Nada.

We loved loved loved this place. We had every age group from 1 year to 50 years old. Everyone found something they could enjoy. The dinosaurs are a bit loud at first for the younger ones but once they get used to the surprise they love them. There was also a lovely picnic area in the middle of the park. Great place for a Sunday family get-together.

This park is fairly new and looks very modern and has great animated exhibits. When I went, it was still in the process of making new sections so by now it's even better than when i went. The outdoor area is great also and has play areas for children as well as walk around and picnic areas for the adults. It's located in a beautiful area near the park and the Ogden river.

This is a FUN place to spend the day with your kids. I even learned things! It's very interactive. Room to run around, things to touch, see, hear, play with... More advanced exhibits for older children. It's definitely designed with children of ALL ages in mind. It's also fun for adults, too. It's reasonably priced as well. I recommend it!

our kids loved the dinosaurs and the scary sounds they made, but were disappointed that many of the activites were chained off. I was unhappy with the fact that I'd looked up the admission prices on their website, but when I actually got there they charged me a lot more. It cost me $10 for just myself. Also, you spend most of the time outside looking at the dinosaurs and the kids became very hot, tired and hungry. So they got all excited for a hot dog and popsicle and when we got to the food place, it was closed too! Very irritating having so many things closed when we payed so much to be there. The one good thing is the playground. The kids LOVED that. They have some really great and creative slides.
PROS: fun playground
CONS: expensive and many activities chained off/closed

The dinosaur park is a lot of fun. My 3-year-old loved wandering around outside. I would go on a mildly warm day, as most of the activities are outdoors. The park is next to a river, so it's really good nature scenery. There is also a pond where you can feed ducks, and a playground with a dinosaur slide. There is a new area inside where you can pan for gold or break open a geode (for an extra cost).
I enjoy going here every year. It's highly recommended.
:)
PROS: nature atmosphere
CONS: confusing to get to for first time
