What can be better than a place that sells chocolates and shoes! Every girls dream come true. The shoes are fairly expensive, but all very good quality. The chocolates are surprisingly very very good! The store is fun and unique, you need to check it out even just to browse.

Scopes are an OC classic. (Young, usually attractive) Photographers run up and down the beach, and offer to take your picture for free, then you go to the studio to view the photos in little "telescopes" that can be hung from a keychain, rearview mirror, etc. A nice alternative to pictures being shoved in a box that you'll rarely look at.
The photographers are usually well trained, and the pics generally come out very well--they go through a variety of poses, so you end up with a lot of options. They can also be a little pushy, however, so if you don't want your pics taken, your best bet is to put on sunglasses and feign sleep.
You're not obligated to buy the scopes; if I go through the trouble of having my pics taken (rolling around in the sand, etc.), I usually buy one or two. They are fairly reasonably priced, though I haven't bought any in a few years, and they usually offer packages, ex: buy 4 and get a discount.
Overall, a cute souvenir for your trip!

Big Peckers is a great restaurant and it has a very family friendly atmosphere. The prices and service are great. You can sit inside or outside, either is great. They accomidate large parties very well. The food is amazing; I would reccomend it to everyone!

This is one of the best crab places around. They have a variety of sizes to choose from, so you can spend quite a bit of money on crabs if you go for the very large ones. Their dinners are very good too. Highly recommended.

We had a great time at the Princess Royale when we stayed. We did a long weekend in the Spring and the price was great for being right at the beach. The indoor pool area is really nice with arcade games and tables to eat at. The room was a nice size suite with a kitchenette and small living room. The balcony was small -- only room for 2 people. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is good if you don't want to be in the crowded boardwalk area of OC

This place has great burritos but their salsa is not as good as a local competitor. We do stop in here from time to time but we tend to favor the other place when we are closer to it. If you want a great burrito then this is the place for you. If you want fresh salsa, go elsewhere.

This is a very upscale Italian restaurant. You may want to dress a bit nicer and make reservations. We did neither and they were very nice to us, but it would be better. The meal here was awesome. Even our kids enjoyed it.
