The Alamo Motel is not a very posh hotel. It is very simple, offering the bare minimum in amenities. However, for those on a tight budget, the rooms really could be worse. They are clean and the rooms arent super tiny. The beds are comfortable. They do have a pool with a pool bar and picnic tables, and is a pretty close drive to the beach and Assateague Island. Assateague is a nice place to visit and see the wild horses, so this is a good place to stay if you plan on visiting there a few times. This hotel just isnt fancy, but it isnt the worst. The parking is good and employees are nice.

It satisfied what I would expect of a motel in a beach town. Relatively clean. Nothing special. Quick and painless check-in and check-out process. Room had a clean fridge, which was a plus.

We've stayed at the Atlantic House Bed and breakfast numerous times and have always had a pleasant experience. It's only a block from the beach and close to the boardwalk. The owners have all the beach paraphernalia fro you to use, free of charge: like beach chairs, bikes and more. The rooms are small and several share a shower, but they are decorated really nice. The prices are reasonable for that area of town. Note: no kids under 5.

It is always difficult traveling with a dog, a big, big dog. Ocean City has very few places where families with dogs can stay. We were lucky to find this motel on a recent road trip. The Barefoot Mailman Motel is a warm and friendly environment for dogs and their owners. All rooms are efficiency units, with microwaves, coffee makers and refrigerators. They are quite large, have patios and, best of all, you can leave your pet while you go to the beach or to a restaurant. There are places to walk your dog , as long as you clean up after it. Oh, and there is no extra charge for bringing pets!

Very nice hotel located close to the beach! Excellent room rates, cable, daily room cleanings, and pool in the hotel. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and the service is very good. Would definitely recommend!

Bay Sails is a moderately priced place located right on the beautiful bay. There is a jet skiing establishment really close by as well as fishing boat rentals and parasailing. The rooms are clean and decorated tastefully. The views from all the rooms are really great as the hotel is ideally located. Bayside is more relaxed and not as jam-packed, and is only a short walk to the ocean.

The Beachmark Motel is a mid grade motel that is perfect for couples and families. The hotel itself is large and offers many rooms. The rooms offer either side ocean views or pool views. The pool is really large and nice and a great way to cool down on a hot summer day. 73rd Street is a really nice block because there are lots of stores nearby, including grocery stores. This hotel has rooms with plenty of sleeping arrangements to accommodate a nice number of people.

The Bedtime Inn is not located at the heart of Ocean City. You will have to drive a little over a mile to get there. It is really a no frills place and not the most welcoming or comfortable place to stay. They do have a pool and offer cheap rates. If you dont have much to spend and dont mind driving a lot, you could stay here. I was not impressed and would not recommend.

We went to Ocean City this week and stayed at the Best Western, Sea Bay Inn. It is off of 62nd Street. Very clean and nice. It had all the comforts of home. We had two double beds, a small sofa, a table and two chairs, ironing board, hair dryer ( I took mine with me because I didn't know they would have one), A beaurea for our clothes, tv, and a coffee maker. I probably forgot some of the other things it had but I want to tell you about the coffee maker. I woke up early one morning and didn't have anything to do for a while so I decided to make a pot of coffee. I don't normaly drink coffee other than instant.
I have never done this before. My husband was going to help me. We put the coffee pod in where the pack said to put it but we did not know where to put the water. My husband came up with puting it in the back. We plugged it in and waited but nothing happened. I thought maybe it was the plug, so I moved it to another recepticle. My husband said maybe the water went in where the coffee was so he poured some in and it ran out. He had asked me about the lid but I told him you can't put the lid on the little pot or the coffee would not be able to go into the pot. It did not work so he went away. I fiddled with the button and the light came on( it had not been on before). I waited some more for the coffee to get made. Every now and then a drop or two would go down into the pot. I looked at the lid and noticed the holes in it. I said well I'll just stick this on an try it. All of a sudden the coffee went down in the pot where it belonged.
When I told my daughter about this she told me I had to stay away from her coffee maker.
I would recommend this hotel as it was reasonably priced ( $66.00 a night), very well located, nice parking lot, and it had everything that we needed to have a wonderful time at the ocean.
