I really had a good time when I visited this museum. They have lots of interactive exhibits so it's not like your typical museum. It's fun but it's also educational which is great if you have children. I didn't even know about this place until a friend of mine told me about it. I will definitely visit again.

The bad thing about the American Museum of Science & Energy is that you have to pay to get in. American Museum of Science & Energy used to be free, but not any more.

The American Museum of Science & Energy is a world-class science museum. Kids and adults will both enjoy the exhibits. I especially love the whisper chamber and the special exhibit on bugs. In addition to neat science exhibits, you learn a lot about Oak Ridge and its nuclear history. Fascinating. Be sure to visit the gift shop - they have some pretty neat stuff!

This museum has many interactive exhibits. It has lots of science puzzles to play with, a quarters race, and other hands-on activities for kids. One of the most fascinating things I saw were the real robots. Some of the other exhibits include the Cold War/Civil Defense exhibit, a weather station exhibit, and exhibits about the atom. There is a lot to see and do. They also have a great shop with books, games, and souvenirs.

The American Museum of Science and Energy (AMSE for short) is an all time favorite for children and anyone who has a love for gizmos. The admission is very cheap and they run many interesting shows, of which, the most well known is "Atom Smasher" and electrifying experience where your hair will stand on end. Sound intriguing? You'll have to check it out. You can also learn about Oak Ridge's past in their extensive wartime exhibit or discover physics in the upper room. Overall it is a great place to kill a few hours.

This has got to be one of Tennessee's grandest museums! Learn Abut The Manhattan Project, the nuclear bomb that revolutionized the world! This is 100% the best science museum I have seen! Exhibits are electrifying, seriosuly :)! Always a fun and exciting trip! Kids are the main focus but adults are all ways having fun too! Exhibits are very hands on and very entertaining! Great for kids!
