I went to the Outback steakhouse in oak ridge Tn the other day for dinner with my daughter. I was struck instantly by the neat and clean condtion the restaruant. We were seated promptly and the serving staff was very curtious. Our food look awesome when it arrived. The food tasted wonderful and our glasses were never empty. I say this is one of the better steak houses for the money.I would recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and have a stress free meal.
PROS: The food is worth the money
CONS: the wait can sometimes be long

El Cantarito is a great Mexican restaurant that I’ve found to offer speedy service and delicious food. The restaurant itself is small, however, this is not a bad thing at all. It has a cozy feel to it and a certain “loudness” that makes for a fun atmosphere. There’s always Mexican music playing which adds to the atmosphere but the real shocker will be when you order your food. The selection is huge! To top that the food is delivered fast and very hot. The way Mexican food should be served. The prices are rather affordable and there are always specials if you’re looking for a deal on an item you’ve never had before.
Highly recommended.

As a lover of carbs myself, Panera Bread is right up my alley. Even if you are trying to limit your carbs, they have options for such dieters. But I'm glad I decided to fore go the low-carb craze and fill my plate with cheese danish and spinach-parmesan bagels! My husband and I can not get enough of this place. Whether you're looking for a quick breakfast, leisurely lunch, or light dinner, Panera Bread can fit the bill. We have dined in and out for all three meals. If you are really in a hurry, you can walk in, put your money in a can and grab a coffee cup to go and fill up on your way out. The ambiance is half the reason we dine there so frequently. The decor is neutral and pleasing to the eye as the classical music being played is pleasing to the ear. I love that they have seasonal menus so you can try different soups, salads, and bagels all year long. So skip the low-carb fare and order some Baked Potato Soup in a bread bowl with a German Chocolate Danish for dessert...your five senses will thank you.

If you’re looking for a piece of Oak Ridge tradition then you need to make your way down to the Soup Kitchen. Despite what you may think, this is not for the homeless, it’s a great restaurant! There are 8 soups offered everyday and there are even free refills! The varieties change everyday but they are always great. The atmosphere is cozy and rustic. If you’re stopping through town you need to check this place out.

I have never seen a place that needed to be cleaned so bad. There was food all over the salad and hot bars it looked like it hadden been cleaned in weeks. I couldnt even bring myself to eat from the salad bar. I would say anyone who ate here is taking their health in their own hands. I will never go to this place again.
