My kids always find something different to eat. My problem is that i like the whole menu and I want one of each, but since I can't, I can have low fat and tasty, meat lover and no carbs, they will cook whatever you want. Love the specials, especially the Greek specialties, and to be honest we drive-from Glen Ellyn to the South Side, because it's very cheap for an entire family. You don't want soup, fine, have salad. My kid fills up on the extras that you don't get charged for. Anyhow, I wish I could try everything on the menu, but you know, holidays and all, gotta watch the middle. Enjoyed the newly remodeled dining room.

The fresh aroma of baked bread struck me as we exited our car in their spacious parking lot. We entered the restaurant and were amazed at the salt water tank filled with tropical fish and other amazing sea creatures. We were immediately acknowledged and asked for our seating preference: booth, or table. We chose a both by the other bigger saltwater tank. We opened the large menu and could not believe the selections, let alone the reasonable prices. The food was delicious and hot. The service, friendly and quick. The kids occupied themselves with crayons and paper menu provided. Before paying our bill, we had the difficult task of choosing a freshly baked dessert from a large array of options. We could not find anything displeasing with our first visit and will be back for more!!

Usually our family does not agree on which restaurant to go to. Even if we are just considering fast food take-out we end up going to 2-3 different places. But Jedi's Garden is the one place that we all love and will usually end up for a sit down dinner.
My 7 year old son who believes that all food should be made of pizza and chicken, will even try something new here once in awhile. But his favorite thing to get is saganaki (flaming cheese)! And if you ask him where he wants to go to go out to eat, it is always Jedi's.
I like it too because being that I eat a Vegan diet, they are always willing to make food special for me and make sure that my pasta is tossed in olive oil instead of butter. My favorite dish is the pasta with sun-dried tomatoes. It sounds so simple, but tastes so good! And the husband, well he loves their patty melts the best, of all things!
The staff there is incredible too. From the busboy who clears the table, to the waitress bringing your order, to the owner who will sometimes work the cash register, you will always get a smile and a friendly word.
And if you bring the kids, they have a great kids menu that comes with crayons to color and keep them busy. Then of course as you walk out the door, don't forget the balloon! As for me, I always have to grab a carrot cake muffin before I can leave. And if you do not like muffins, don't worry! They have a large display of other wonderful bakery items to choose from.
PROS: great food, great service, fresh bakery
CONS: sometimes a full parking lot and no room
