Family owned and neighborhood run you cannot beat the selection and service.
From the homemade Polish bakery section there are more things to choose than you could ever want. I often get lost here trying to decide what to buy.
They also have fresh baked breads and many Polish items that you cannot find elsewhere.
But there sausage is unbelievable! Just like the old time butcher shops with quality and great price.
This is a wonderful store to shop and walking in you can feel the family atmosphere.

I come from a Polish Family and although we are pretty Americanized, we do like the fresh Polish Sausage (not smoked like Ekrich or Scott Petersen) for holiday time. In the past few years we've had problems getting it or finding the sausage with the closest taste to homemade. We may have found it at this place, Joe and Franks.
Joe and Franks is a small deli in Bridgeview off of 87th and Ridgeland and very Polish. Not only do they have an extensive array of meats but they have other Polish delacacies too such as pierogis and globacki and if you look hard enough they do sell fresh chicken noodle soup and borscht (red and white). Among the other groceries they also have a good selection of imported Polish products such as chocolates and cookies.
So if you're looking for something homemade and fresh (sausage and sauerkraut rock!) check this place out...it was very crowded the day I went in there but it was well worth the wait!
