Ok, all you fashionista's out there. If you love shoes, have I gotta place for you! Good prices, lots of sales and great variety. Whenever I fee low, there I go, there I go, there I go. No seriously....They offer more than just shoes They have purses, hats, hosiery and accessories. I always get my birthday gifts for my friends there. One of the best things is that they have a birthday program that gives you a discount on yours. Great street access on Piedmont ave. Friendly sales folks too. I have a friend that hates to shop, I drug her in, she bought 4 pair of shoes. Seriously, go and find out for yourself.
PROS: Birthday program, Good parking, Stylish Shoes, Great Sales
CONS: The Cclothes are great, but not many in sizes past 12.

I have only sold my used clothes to this store but have not purchased anything there. When shopping there, I noticed that the prices were not terribly low - I get a much better deal at garage sales. But when selling my old items, I get pretty good money for it, however the clothes must be in perfect condition and brand namish.

I don't know. On one hand, I don't eat foods whose names end in "loaf" and I don't shop in places whose names end in "barn." On the other hand, I feel bad making fun of them. Their fluorescent-lit stable of polyester and rayon skirt-suits with giant spangles and shoulder pads, all in colors like fuschia, lime, and royal blue... just incites pity in me.

there are SOOO many things & people i/we've missed living out of the US & it MAY be worse now that we are back..& in MS! we've been gone from the Bay Area for soo long & we keep trying to find jobs SOMEWHERE on the W Coast, if for no other reason than my best friend MIchelle, our hairdresser RAINBEAU!!, & IN FULL SWING.
yes, i DO miss the beautiful clothes. when we moved to panama, we moved forever (or so we thought); so i gave away my collection of non-handkerchief linen flax, Tencel, SS sweaters, etc. panama's dirty, harsh water & a washing machine that MUST have had ROCKS in it, it literally ate all that FLAX.
It was such a joy to shop at IFS: the clothing is incredible but the people there are part of my adopted family. i miss them even more than i miss FLAX & you know, that's a LOT!
if any of you happen to read this, i now have an address where you can send all those books. we'll pay for the shipping.

I was looking for the Nail Shop near by while I was waiting I stop by this Gift Shop I try to made some time para esperar for my turn in the Nail Shop there is a Little Asian Lady smiling very nice person and her husband SPEAKS Spanish OH MY GOD at first it was funny to me but this guy speak so fluent que pense que era un MEXICANO no pensaba comprar NADA but they GOT everything for me I'm so Glad to walk in into that store I REALLY RECOMMEND to all FAMILIES Girls, Woman you will love it...
