When I first moved here I began going to Dr. Safely because he was on the list in my insurance book and he had an office in Keller. What a lucky find he was! He no longer has the Keller office, but I gladly drive in to North Richland Hills to see him. He is not too much in a hurry to talk and explain things to you. He is kind and gentle and seems to really care, which is very relaxing. I have gone to doctors who I practically had to lasso and throw to the ground to get them to hang around long enough to answer my questions. You've all been to those. But Dr. Safely is different and will chat with you to relax you before beginning the dreaded exam! His staff are friendly and caring as well and it is a pleasure to go for my checkups, not a dreaded experience.

I took my kids and myself here to have ourt eyes checked by this Optometrist and the whole staff is great. They do not over schedule appointments. When you get an appointment you can feel confident you will be seen close to that time without long waits. They are great with kids and if your child is upset by needing glasses they really talk with the child so they understand there is nothing wrong with needing glasses. My daughter was devestated to learn she needed glasses. The doctor and her staff really worked with her and now she loves her glasses. When it comes to getting contacts, they work with you to find the best pair that works for you without trying to put you into the pair by the company pushing the hardest. They really care for their patients and are there to serve you. This is a great place for eye care. They have great prices that are very competitive.

This is a very friendly and helpful clinic. They are good priced too. They offer a hugh inventory of glasses and contacts. they even sell soft or disposable contacts. They even except most insurances. They are in a nice area next to popeyes.

I have been taking my daughters to this office for years now, and have never had a problem. Sometimes their primary doctor ( actually, she is a nurse practitioner)is booked solid, and we may have to see another doctor, but they are all well-schooled, and see patients of all ages.
And believe it or not, it's easy to get in touch with them by phone!!

I am pleased to say that the professional staff at North Hills Hospital have another victory, one with unknown speed of recovery (at least as my family is concerned). One week ago today I went in for triple bypass surgery recommended by Dr. David Slife and due to 70-90 percent blockage of three arteries on the top left side of my heart. This was also the first surgery of any kind for me as I try to stay away from hospitals and have done so for nearly 65 years. After coming out of the "fog" in the recovery ICU room, I asked my wife for my reading glasses and a book brought along to help spend the time while getting back to normalcy. The pain was minimal, the care and encouragement awesome. I spent less than two days in ICU and less than two more in the "step down" sutie meaning that I went home the evening of my four day after surgery. My surgeon was Dr. Reza Khalafi recommended by Dr. Slife. He is good!
Bottomline: if you find yourself as I did needing such surgery, I had none of the ususal symptoms at all, I highly recommend this hospital, its staff of great people, and of course, Dr. Slife and Khalafi. A merry Christmas to all of them for the best present I have ever received in this lifetime!
Pros: Professionalism shown by all staff, newly remodeled ICU, state of the art medical processes
