This place is the place to go when you are craving seafood (but they have chicken as well). The menu's simple and its in the famous NoHo Arts District. This little hangout has been serving up fish and fries in the Valley for more than 30 years. Family-owned and operated, you'll find scrumptious servings of fish, shrimp, oysters and lobsters. If you love all the things your doctor tells you not to eat, stop right here and splurge. You can eat in or take it home with you. Especailly the onion rings and shrimp..oh and I recommend the fish with their special Tartar sauce too Heck everything is good..and Priced just right and isnt a very long wait at all.
I'm Hooked! I look forward to eating there every Friday night.

Regarding the review below.I just had a Lennox unit installed, not only is it quiet and efficient, the guys at Darrow are ALL UNION.My last unit I had was a Trane installed by Mediterranean Air Conditioning and their customer service was horrible.Darrow's is great!I waited 7 hours for Mediterranean to come and fix my unit and this happened 3 or 4 times.The woman I talked to from Darrow AC was very pleasant and knowledgable and help set up an a schedule.When Darrow does maintenance, they are there within an hour to an hour and a half, they get right down to work, and they know exactly what they are doing.The techs that worked on my unit and maintenanced my furnace, were friendly, knowledgeable and explain whats going on with your unit.The bill is fair especially for Union work.Definitely the best around.
Pros: Knowledgeable, GREAT customer service, GREAT EQUIPMENT, I saved hundreds on my energy bill

I've been going here off and on since I began working in the area a couple years ago - it's always excellent. They have a seaweed salad better than I've found anywhere else - its delicious! The price is right too, especially for lunch, they have a lot of specials. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My seatbelt stopped working on my 2004 Ford Escape. After calling Sunrise, Brittany told me to come on in, and that I wouldn't need an appointment. When I got there, she and the shop manager determined that it might cost about $200 with parts and labor. Considering it was still cheaper than a "Click-it or ticket," I was OK with this. He then found that he had an extra part laying around, and that it would only be for $100.00. She recommended the Denny's on the corner for some lunch, and it was all done when I returned. I was absolutely pleased with their service, professionalism, and candor. Thanks, Sunrise! :-)

Lisa Long, one of Barsac's original owners, just brought in an incredible new chef (Fabio - so talented, SO handsome, so witty, and SO soon to have a show on Bravo). The room feels like a sunfilled palazzo. But the seating is still the same (privacy). The big screen TV in the bar/eating area still cool. And now they tore down the wall blocking the kitchen so you can see the chef in action.
And the food. My husband and I tried it out just a week after it opened...for lunch (10/30/09) and the food was like world-class spectacular. The way Fabio (I know. It sound like a romance-hero model. But he IS FINE!) combines flavors, textures...the unexpected. We were guided by Joe-the-bartender/waiter to try the "Short Rib Ravioli" - not something I ever would have picked but I was there to test the place. OMGEEEEEE. Even an ordinary dish like my husband's pasta and seafood took on a whole new character. And on and on. (we did desserts too).
The pace was leisurely. They never rushed us. The new sunny-but-soft lighting let you see friends across the room. No sitting on top of strangers. And the prices seem better than before, so now i can meet my girlfriends there too.
Pros: amazing chef - (somehow) low prices
