This joint used to be run by a geezer named Dave. Dave had a huge "flavor-saver" under his nose and a zipperhead hairdo and liked to spend the weekends pretending he was famous at the 90210 links. In my brief tenure in his employ, I liked to pretend, as i lay in the sun at zuma, i had reported for work. did so every weekend that Dave and his 'stache were off golfing. this worked like a charm until some scrote ratted me out and got me 86'd from the 76. Fine memories though - david carradine, coming way down off the heights of his "kung fu" days all whacked out and despondent and trying to pronounce english... my comrade in fumes pouring oil all over a surly mclean stevenson's engine block (not to speak ill of the dead, but what an uncomplicated hack!). toilets always were clean enough to eat off of - and some of the people we got in there did...
