I have attended many Pilates classes, and this is the best hands on, custom to each person program I know. The health center is peaceful, with good vibes and everybody is so nice. I feel great, I look great,and I love working out with The Sheppard Method. Risa is one of the first teachers in Los Angeles, having been a teacher for 35 years. She knows her stuff. All of her teachers have been trained by her, so I feel confident with all of them! Renee Dundas Kerr

I have gone to many spas but never walked into a spa so relaxing, clean, with beautiful decorations and friendly staff. I only went to get a facial but ended up buying other treatments. So far I have gotten their photo facial which has changed the look of my face. I also got laser hair removal, and I have to say the nurse was so detailed that so far I have gone for three times and I have just few hairs left. I just purchased their package for Velashape and Body Wrap I can’t wait to go for my appointment next week. I really like this place; they really try their best to put the best package for you. The best part of it all is that their consultations are complimentary. They will answer all your questions…trust me I think asked way too many questions. I am very happy with the service that I’m getting.

Today was the first time I went to try Urban Retreat Day Spa and it was amazing.
I read all this reviews and thought that I should give it a try.
The facility is clean and the staff is professional. I received the Urban Retreat Package - massage & facial. And it was very soothing and relaxing.
Since it was my birthday 2 days ago, they decorated one of the rooms with balloons. I thought that, that was really thoughtful!
Its a great place to relax and enjoy!

When I go to a salon, I want to be treated like a star. We live in Los Angeles, the home of the stars and perhaps the most vain location on planet Earth!
Salons can be intimidating. You never know who you are going to run into while waiting for your foils to be removed.
A typical day at this Salon feels like a big party! Most people come in for an appointment and have trouble leaving. It?s that fun! The entire staff has a smile and you are almost always guaranteed to meet someone interesting. I always grab a cup of java while I'm waiting for my color to finish. If I had three hands, I'd give it three thumbs up!!!!

I have been attending both reformer and pilates mat classes at this studio for the past 4 weeks. All of the instructors I have used have been first rate and this is a small more intimate workout location in the Studio City/North Hollywood area. Highly recommended!
