This place has been here forever, and with restaurants popping up all over town, there's definitely a reason why! It's a genuine traditional family style Italian restaurant with great pizza and pastas. The prices are fantastic too! Get there early for dinner, because it gets very crowded. The kids will enjoy playing the Pacman game. You'll truly appreciate this family night out!

I've been enjoying the tasty goodness of Little Toni's pizzas since I was a wee little lad. 4 generations of my family have dined there. I made my wife from upstate New York a fan, her mom a fan (who recently asked if we could stop there first on her next visit) and my one year old daughter a fan. Among my favorites are the moderately priced thin crust cheese pizza. For a party of two, go with a small or medium double-cut. Enjoy a tasty glass of wine along with your main meal. Many to choose from! The house wine is well priced, but I prefer a cab. Recently, we have tried a cheese pizza with a topping of either green bell peppers or salami (a nice alternative to pepperoni). Best time to go is when they just open or later in the evening. The joint can become rather busy during the busy 7pm rush. Try the bar, it's a nice place for couples to watch the tube and enjoy wine over pizza and get your old school game on with Ms. Pacman. The staff is not full of aspiring actors (maybe just the hostess) and the restaurant is great for family and friends to unite for parties. Kid friendly too! On a quiet night, you might find father and son owners Mitchell and Brent kindly greeting you on your way in. They are a pleasure to speak with!

When you meet a nice waitress, who's been serving at the restaurant for almost 50 years, you have to believe its good. Their staff have been their a long time and enjoy serving their customers. However, be patient and its well worth it. It's a place you have to try once. They use the best ingredients on their pizza and serve family style like real Italians. The place looks pastime, but so what... that's the beauty of history. Great place for romantic dinners, small parties and quiet time with the family. Tip generously and don't forget to take some to go.

Yes, I agree that the service isn't Patina or Wolfgang Puck, but seriously we would never go there expecting otherwise. The PIZZA IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST we've ever had (my husband is from Boston). I don't mind the waitresses and actually have a great rapport with them--they can be to the point, but I've never felt they were blatantly rude. We do prefer picking up to dining in, as the service can be a bit slow, but again, we expect that when we go in. Back to the pizza--the crust is thin, flaky, tastes fabulous; their sauce is a bit dark and tastes wonderful, and the pepperoni is thick-cut authentic pepperoni. None of it is out of a can. In fact, they sell their pizza sauce and salad dressing separately, and sometimes we get their's to use on a homemade pizza at home with Trader Joe's pizza dough. Their pizza is what we will miss most if/when we ever leave town...
Pros: Pizza, old-school ambience
Cons: Slow service, pricey but worth it

Little Toni's is a hole in the wall Italian spot in North Hollywood. The decor is a little outdated, however may give customers a nostalgic feel for old Italy (checkered red table cloths). It is very dim inside --probably good for a romantic setting --but can be a little too dark when you can't even see your food. It's very old school--just like the staff. Service isn't their best asset. The only waitresses I've seen are all old ladies. There have been times when we wanted to eat there for lunch but they are only open for dinner. The pizza is the only reason my boyfriend and I go here! It is absolutely delicious and HUGH portions. Their thin-crust pizza is one of the best I've ever tasted! Yummy Yummy pizza but not so yummy service!!!
Pros: PIZZA, food
Cons: limited parking, service is not good at all, too dark inside

If you place a phone order be prepared to be brow-beaten by a rude waitress. ( maybe not always but we've sure gotten the rudest phone service ever known) Spaghetti sauce is not so great, I cook better pasta at home. Meatballs are very BAD!!! Chicken marsela is descent.
Ice tea is really good.
come for the food (pizza) & don't expect to have anykind of customer service.
Pros: open late
Cons: bad area~ wait, why would I want to be in this town late at night!!!

I live 20 miles away but go there once a week to get the best Italian food in Los Angeles. The portions are large or should I say huge, and the prices are more then fair. Not only is the food great but the service is as well, they make you feel at home. Great place to bring a date, dark lit and romantic.
The pizza is the best that I've had!!!!
Pros: great food, great prices
Cons: none
