I always enjoy shopping at our local Target. This is where I do the bulk of my Christmas and other gift shopping, as they have a nice selection of toys, housewares, and baby items. The shelves are clean and well organized and the staff is friendly and helpful. The clearance racks for kid's clothing often have great finds, and the exercise/fitness area also has a nice selection of sale and clearance merchandise. I've also enjoyed shopping in the snack sand candy section (way too much). We buy all our diapers and personal hygeine products at this Target store. Our whole family loves shopping here!
PROS: clean, well organized store
CONS: snack area could be expanded (like SuperTarget!)

I don’t personally buy a lot of windows or glass…but I do know of large organizations that choose to buy from Polzin rather than contracting with someone in the Twin Cities or other Northfield Businesses. They provide a consistent, quality service and employees are always helpful and pleasant.

Lansing Hardware employed most of my friends in high school so I went there to visit friends more than anything else. However, as I’ve now worked in a carpenter’s shop for a few years – I don’t often find that Lansing is my choice of hardware stores in town. They really are rather comparable to the other places in town, but I might argue that their selection is slightly more limited.

This Kwik Trip is clean and well stocked. A tad crowded feeling, and the location is inconvenient unless you are traveling TOWARDS Northfield on Hwy 19. Car wash is right next door, but are not affiliated with each other.
PROS: Clean, Car wash next door
CONS: Crowded, Bad Location (for me)

The Holiday Store is located in an incovenient location for me. I rarely frequent the place because of this reason. However, I will say that they operate one of the cleanest, most spacious convenience store in town. They also have a pretty good selection of items.
PROS: Clean, Spacious
CONS: Location (for me)
