Caribou Coffee is a great place to hang out with friends and talk, do homework, or just relax. The coffee is excellent, and they serve items from macchiatos and lattes to scones, frozen coolers, and yogurt. The people working are so nice and helpful, and they are great conversationalists. They make the consumer feel like he/she is very cared about.

This was THE best bagel shop! In our household, it beat out Bruegger's any day. Unfortunately, the Mankato-based bagel shop had to close down its 3 locations. For bagels try Goodbye Blue Monday or have an awesome breakfast at the Tavern.

This place is great. Best food, great service. I've never, ever been disapointed here. Honestly cannot say the same for the 'other' Indian place in town. Kurry Kabob is just something else.
Food is always as you ask for it, fresh, and flavorful. I love their lamb dishes. I've never had lamb as tender as here. And the rice. Lots of different rice dishes, all worth coming back to try. Garlic naan that I just can't get enough of.
If you're looking for Indian food, or just something different, this is a sure bet.
Did I mention the wine? Top quality that you can't find just anywhere.
The lunch buffet is great too. I love checking out everything!!
This place is a sure bet.
Well worth any drive.
And, they deliver too. Speaking of that, they just arrived, 20 minutes faster than expected!

Brick Oven Breads offers amazing specialty breads. You can find this little shop hidden behind Casey’s and although it’s not on the way to anyway, it’s worth the stop. My personal favorites are the basil cheese garlic bread and the carmel pecan rolls are incredible. Breads are made daily and sold at extremely reasonable prices.

I have been to a lot of coffee house and this is it. The end all be all. Perfectly retro. Truly indie. The coffee is the top notch(of course) and the baked goods are delicious and fresh. There's an early morning buzz of locals and students getting their caffeine as well as social fixes. All the while the music wafts in the ethos. Jazz, Indie, blues...ah....thank you, GBM!

El Tequila began in Faribault (a neighboring town) and saw enough of a market for a Mexican restaurant here in Northfield as well. I believe the residents of Northfield are thankful for the sister restaurant and enjoy the traditional Mexican food it provides. The ambiance is perhaps a bit too much if you don’t’ like bright colors and somewhat gaudy decorations, but the food is worth the visit and the prices are very reasonable.

Chapati restaurant serves excellent food and the staff is very hospitable. Its more expensive than the other restaurants but the food is good. It serves both vegetarian and non vegetarian food. It remains closed on Mondays.The naans are very delicious and so are the other dishes like kheer and paneer makhani.
The food is not very spicy and very delicious.
