This restaurant is very good and is known for make your own dishes. Where you can add the vergetables you want, the type of meat, whether you would like noodles or rice and the type of sauce you would want on your dish. They also have a normal menu where you can just order off from. The food is decent, but is a very americanized chinese/ asian restaurant.

I think I've only been to this place once - mainly because of the inconvenient location. From what I remember, the food was okay and the price was tolerable, but the service was not as friendly as I'd have liked. My mother and I ordered a take-out (it's also a dine-in restaurant) and we waited about 15 to 20 minutes for it. The insides were nicely decorated. Overall, it's an average rating store leaning on the 4 stars for the pretty decent food.

I bought a drink from there, and overall, it was okay. It tasted a bit murky, though. The price was a bit higher than what it should've been, esp. with the taste and all - though I heard that things in malls are more pricey. They said it was fat free but when I looked at the nutritional values online, it isnt so fat free. Would I try a different drink? Maybe.. if I saw it for cheaper someplace else.

While out of range for me, I manage to get here occasionally.
Sunset Foods is an upscale local supermarket. They specialize in fresh meats and also ready to eat deli delicacies. Theuir fresh bakery also has some great iems, including my favorite, peanut butter brownies.
They also have a selection of more traditional supermarket items, with some upscale brands.
It's well worth a visit.

Lids is a hat store. They have a hat for almost every team of every sports. Other than that, they have some sports equipment and jerseys as well. Their hats are pretty cheap and they have a special almost every: 3 hats for $10, which is pretty good. The service is pretty quick here but I think they need more than 2 people working on the floor at a time.

I was there last Saturday, just looking around a bit.
They had clearance sales on items and newspaper coupons available thyat could be used to take off another 20%.
I found two great shirts - a navy polo shirt from Polo, with a list of $65 and a Calvin Klein dress shirt, with a list of $80.
I got them both for a total of $60.
Lord and Taylor carries a lot of quality brands. Their sales can be quite good!

I recently switched to U.S. Cellular and found this store head and shoulders above all others. Salesman Tim was knowledgeable and patient. Best of all, cell reception in Northbrook is excellent. I had Cingular for five years and got tired of poor reception, dropped calls, and a lousy phone.

Wet Seal always has reasonable price and they always have a buy one get on free sale going on. I love their jeans here, they are really comfortable and they look great. They also have jewelry, belts, bandannas, and other accessories here. Another complaint I have about Wet Seal is that their fitting rooms always have clothes laying across the floor everywhere.

While not as good as Malnati's pizza, Domino's is quite good. Using their frequent coupon specials gets you a very reasonably priced meal. And it's ready for pickup in about 20 minutes (or they deliver in 30).
