for the person who criticized that it wasn't "japanese" enough....please....we're in AMERICA. and frankly. in japan....cooks touch their faces. are you serious? but far from japanese....well if you haven't noticed....90% of the japanese restaurants in America aren't going to "japanese." the fish is the freshest fish i've had the midwest. very innovative and the service is great. they remember what you want and your name. and service is fast.

The food is acceptable in USA but not in Japan. However, it is not the typical Japanese restaurant. In Japan, the susih maker(chef) is not allowed to touch anything including the part of his face. Regarding the cost/performace, it's also acceptable if no other choice.
