After a recent dinner excursion to Tonelli's Restaurant with my husband and some of his family, I'd have to say that it's a reliable local Italian spot. The overall atmosphere reminded me more of a pancake house than of similarly priced chain restaurants like Olive Garden. What Tonelli's lacks in atmosphere and in service, however, it easily makes up in its variety and quality of entrées and substantial wine list. If you're in the mood for anything ranging from ribs to veal, they've got it. Don't forget to try their herb-infused olive oil provided for dipping. An overall casual but very filling meal, and you're almost guaranteed to leave with a doggie bag.

Malnati's has about the best pizza in the area, especially the deep dish variety. They do little advertising and almost never have coupon specials because they rely upon their reputation and good food to sell themselves.

I can smell this Chicago Pizza all the way from the Rocky Mountains of Chicago. I'd start walking now if I could. The fact is that Chicago Pizza is thin, not thick. Tonelli's makes it the right way. But no they don't stop at Pizza. Whatever you ask for you will be happy. Bring the family, it's very family oriented. It's a fun upbeat wonderful place. Enjoy.

This is an excellent Northern Italian Fine Dinning Establishment.The Lake Superior White Fish is the best there is through out the Chicago Land area. The menu is diversified, but always excellent. Nothing could possibly disappoint. The staff is A#1 or they don't work there long. When they are trained by Guido or family they become family. This is one of the best of the best in the Chicago Land Area. Do not miss it.

I enjoy this chain of restaurants, and the north location is not exception. The menu is ever changing and offers a nice variety of Italian dishes. The ambience is romantic with the dimmed room and votive candles at the table. The service at this location was not as prompt as I've experienced at the other locations, but not terrible either. I noticed a lot more children at this location as well.

While not as good as Malnati's pizza, Domino's is quite good. Using their frequent coupon specials gets you a very reasonably priced meal. And it's ready for pickup in about 20 minutes (or they deliver in 30).
