Fortunately, I don't have many reasons to speak with on duty police officers! But when I do have a reason, I am glad to know that Norman police officers will be on the job!
I, recently, had some checks stolen and forged. I took the canceled checks to the Norman Police Department to file a report. We knew who forged the checks and this person is already in jail on unrelated matters, so I wanted to get this filed and pushed through before he could get out again.
We were lucky enough to have Officer Stewart Snider assigned to the case. I assumed we would drop off the paperwork and it would sit on someone's desk for a few days before anything got done... I was wrong! Officer Snider got right on the case, and is doing everything he can to ensure that this person will not continue getting away with his crimes.
I have never experienced police officers getting right on the case like this... I am grateful that the Norman Police Department believes in getting the job done!

I currently have two children attending Whittier Middle School. I absolutely love it! The teachers are so focused on working with every one of their students. I always have such a pleasant experience with the parent teacher conferences, as I can tell the teachers have really taken the time to get to know my children, their strengths and weaknesses, as well as what works best with their personality. I have always been so very impressed with their entire philosophy, but most of all, their teachers!

you're very likely to pass this rare treasure by if you dont know its there. Located behind Hob Nob Rob's on lindsey, Paw Paw's is an authentic hot dog stand. But theres nothing ordinary about these dogs. For starters, their hot dogs are completely kosher; besides the normal hot dog, they have specials like 'the chicago dog,' 'mexi dog', and fot chicken eaters, 'the bird dog'. each hot dog is handmade with tender loving care.

The day has finally come there is a Starbucks here.... that not in a book store. Its an actual Starbucks they have a patio to sit outside, inside, or take it with you. Anyone who has ever tried a starbucks drink knows it is, well I really don't know how to explain it words can't explain it. Except it's pretty much the best coffee ever so many flavors and varities to choose from.
It's across the street from Norman High School on Main St they are not listed yet cause they recently opened. It's where the old Taco Mayo was.

God Arby's is good. They have great famous roast beef sandwiches and spicy curley fries. This is my all time faveroite fast food resturaunt. And they still have the 5 for like 5 bucks. You get to choose it makes life easier. When you have a rough long day at the office and get off late. If you don't want to cook then go by arby's and bring home a bunch. Arbys sauce by the way really makes there sandwiches something else. The store is pretty clean too.

if you are wanting a place that the people are friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, and you aren't ever uncomfortable... then the Lucky Monkey is for you. The girls that work there are amazing. they will make sure that they understand WHAT you want, and then deliver the best cut, color, and style you have ever had. I found my place to go forever now. i went to Jenny and will forever!!!!

There’s lots to learn at the Nature Center. It’s right there at the entrance to the lake off Highway 9. Stop in. You’ll be glad you did. (Plus there’s a Coke machine out front!)
