I love Classic 50's, they are on main st located right next to Sonic, so between the two businesses there is a lot of competition. Classic 50's has happy hour where drinks are 1/2 price. They also have pickleo's which are fried dill pickles dipped in ranch are delicious. Classic used to be the hang out place get some food meet up with friends. I am suprised that sonic and classic 50's are both still right next door to each other. I really enjoy going here because I do like there food so much.

Classic 50's is set up exactly like sonic, except there is different menu and a little more courteous servers. The food is okay, but the drinks are delicious especially on a hot summer afternoon.... More
Classic 50's is set up exactly like sonic, except there is different menu and a little more courteous servers. The food is okay, but the drinks are delicious especially on a hot summer afternoon. Classic 50's is not a corporate chain so they are willing to try new things out. The slushies are great and come in so many flavors- they are all worth trying.

Not only is there food better than sonic's, but they have a really cool selection of slushies. While sonic has maybe 6 or 7 flavors, Classic 50s has probably 50 flavors. The fact that they've been able to compete with sonic (which is right next door) says a lot about their food and service.

Great 'sonic like' restaurant. Personally, I think it's better. They've been in norman a long time, and sonic tried to buy them out. They held strong though - even as sonic built next door. Due to customer enthusiasum and great service, they've managed to stay in business. They also have great baked potatoes!
