Bison Witches has been around for a while, located on main st. I love eating there. They have serveral great sandwiches to choose from. Most of the time you get a sandwich, some chips, and some sort of chilli or soup. I like getting there chilli they bring it our in a bread bowl. I like getting the sandwich with sprouts and avacado on it. Doesn't sound good but I promise you it is. Bison Witches has good prices too. Some people like to call it Bison Bit#$es because they say the girls are rude. I have always gotten treated nicely there. Probably all the pervs sitting at the bar. A girl has so stand up for herself come on guys.

Is the name literally enticing you to 'buy sandwiches'? Well, good: it worked for us. We came through on a holiday to see a packed jumpin' place with hip music and an even hipper college crowd and chowed on some amazingly huge sammies: grilled cheese on whole wheat as well and a crunchy PB & J on the same bread and we loved it. Bison Witches is a bar/restaurant offering soup and sandwiches. They have a big variety of sandwiches on different breads. They have about four kinds of soups and chili that come in a bead bowl. I have tried each one and they are all great, but creamy potato bacon is my favorite. The special is a half of sandwich (which is still pretty big), soup, and a bag of chips or pretzels for about six bucks. All very good especially for the price. It's a great place for lunch, but it's not very big, so expect a wait. It's primarily a bar, so not a place to take the kids on an evening or weekend.
