This is Ou school of music and they always have performances every week. Some of them are free and some of them are not. Most important thing is the theater are world class, comfortable seats and great view.

This is definitely one of norman's treasures. Not only do they have a gift shop full of unique and 100% hand crafted items, they also offer all kinds of art classes for all ages. They have children's art classes for both the summer and after school, and have a wide variety of classes for adults. no matter your medium, you can find a class at the Firehouse. They also have gallery exhibits of some very original and local artisits.

Are you into art or have a creative mind or way of thinking. Well If you live in Norman you know there is not much to do. I used to go to the Fred Jones Art Museum all the time. Haven't been there in a while but really look forward to getting back into the groove. This is such a nice museum right on OU campus. They just recently remodled it. It is nicer than ever. They have wonderful pictures and paintings. It is really and interesting place to go. Best part of it is its free. I belive they take donations. And usually there is no one in there when you go except for security. They like to watch you and make sure you don't touch anything. This is a perfect place to visit.

Looking for entertainment Hastings is the best place to find it in Norman. They have a Huge selection of movies. Hastings offers renting or buying Games for any console too. Or if you like to relax get some coffee and check out the great book section. If none of this is interesting to you they also have knew and used CD's too. Hasting also sells some clothing, snacks, and little nik nacks too. I recommend getting a Hastings card if you haven't already. And get to renting right away. Hastings was just recently remodled and looks great too. You are always bound to find something you will be interested in.

You can't go wrong with Lake Thunderbird! The entertainment is totally free! If you're into camping, boating, water skiing, swimming, fishing, hiking or all the above then definitely make a trip out of it!
The camping does have a very small fee associated with it as do boat rentals, but if you have your own boat then it is completely free!
The only negative thing about Thunderbird is some locations of the lake are a little dirty... dubbing thunderbird lake as "dirtybird"

While this place may not be as flashy as bigger zoos, they have some of the friendliest keepers and some really great animals. They have a lot of animals that bigger zoos dont even have. This is a great place to take kids. This is a wonderful zoo that is very enjoyable, as long as you don’t mind getting a little messy.

This is the only family fun center in Norman. You can hang out with your friends or families here They have batting range, mini golf, go kart, many arcade games, billiards. Everything fun, this place will have it. There is also food court inside that sells from snacks to heavy meals.
