My husband's Jeep Cherokee was having a problem with the brake system. All of a sudden while driving , he went to slow down to turn and the brake pedal would not go down with using both his feet and every bit of strength he could muster. We called a few local places and were being told basically the same thing was wrong with it..the power booster, but nobody could get us in for at least a week. Then we called Monro..great guys here! They could get it in immediately, told us who to call for a tow and looked at it the first day they had it. They were also very honest in telling us that it did sound like the booster, but it could be something far less expensive or far more expensive. They checked it all out and came to find out that it was something more expensive and they were not equipped to handle that kind of repair. They told us we needed to take it to a dealer because they would be the only ones who could fix it. They then called ahead to the nearest dealer and to let them know we would be towing it over there. The best part ...NO CHARGE!! We did have to pay for the tow to the shop in the first place , but there was no charge for anything else. They do free estimates and actually LOOK at the vehicle and find out what is wrong and exactly what will have to be fixed before diagnosing and quoting a price. Friendly, eager to help out and honest . GREAT shop , will definitely be taking my vehicle in to them in the future.

We have dealt with Kahlo on two different vehicles and have been very impressed both times. They are fair and don't try to talk you into something you are not ready for. We bought our van from them two years ago and have not had any hidden problems with it. The service department has also greatly impressed me. The staff is very friendly and I have never felt like they were taking advantage of me because I am a woman bringing in a car to have serviced.

i have always been happy with the service at any of the Mike's express locations. It is a little pricey, but i really think it is worth not doing it myself and putting all that soap in the sewer that is bad for the environment. (mike's treats the runoff first.) buy a book of washes, it will save you money in the long run. i do wish they would add inside detailing as a service.

I always thought that this would be a great place to get an oil change because of the convenience...BOY WAS I WRONG!!! I have gotten several oil changes at this location and the wait is NEVER under an hour and a half (sometimes longer). Even if there seems to be only one or two cars inside! There was even an incident where I had to have them replace my oil cap because I realized two days later that they "forgot" to put it back on when they were finished!!!

I had to have my husbands Jeep Cherokee brought here for a problem that could only be fixed at the dealership. They took their time to make sure they had the right diagnosis and were honest when they realized they would not be able to repair the problem. Their repair guides did not go back far enough for our vehicle and they let us know that it would have to be towed to yet another lot to be fixed. They did have it for a week , that is the only part that was frustrating, but they did have other vehicles to see ahead of ours. They did not charge us for anything because they said they could fix the problem and did quote us a price and ended up keeping our vehicle for a week and nothing was fixed. They could have charged us for the tow to the other lot and for checking it out , but did the honest thing and did not charge us. They took the time to find a lot nearby that could fix the problem for sure and do it quickly and had it towed there when they really did not have to do any of that. We really think they offer great service and would definitely bring our vehicle back to them.

This shop reminds me of my dad's garage back in Illinois. That gave me a lot of comfort knowing that I had picked the right place. It has a small town feel even though it is in the middle of urban sprawl. There is always a lot of business and return customers. And people can just walk in and talk. The people are honest and do not try to sell a procedure that you do not necessarily need. I love that they have a website. I like knowing what I am getting myself into. I had to pick some place to get my car repaired after 2 hit and runs (in the same week!). Since no one came forward to claim responsibility and since I didn't think that the damage was severe enough to turn into insurance and raise my rates, I paid out of pocket to repair the damage. I thought that the price paid was reasonable for the work done. The work was done quickly and around my schedule. They are more interested in being honest and getting return customers and referrals than in making the almighty buck!

This is a great place to get your oil changed! They are quick and convenient! The staff is friendly and they never pressure you to buy additional services or parts! Their wating room is small and not the cleanest. They have a small TV and some toys for the children. I like them the best because they offer quick service and no hassles! Great staff!
