Very good dentist, very personable. What I like is that sometimes she personally does some work that her hygenist would usually do. You feel like you're the good hands of someone who takes her job seriously.

My Dentist is Better Than Ken's

More
Growing up I was spoiled, dentist-wise, by my mom's best friend's husband, Steve Hinkis, so much so that I couldn't even understand jokes involving the pain of dentistry. After Steve retired to live on a golf-course on Long Island, I went to a dentist once on the Upper West Side where I bled for an hour at the hands of a young hygenist and was then admonished for about 3 seconds by I think a dentist for chewing too much on ice. Then I got computer generated "personal" notes from the practice every 6 months reminding me about my next cleaning. Needless to say, I stayed away from dentistry for a while after that.
I will admit I was skeptical when my fashionable then-fiancee recommended I go see Margaret O'Reilly, who she heard about from colleagues at Harper's Bazaar and who supposedly cleaned and whitened the teeth of beauty editors and runway models. Only for our wedding photos, I reluctantly agreed. As usual my wife's instincts were correct and my initial skepticism was unwarranted and unfair.
Margaret O'Reilly turned out to be a wonderful dentist and here are a few reasons why:
*No hygenist, does all the work herself
*A one woman show:
-Answers her own phone
-Makes her own appointments
-Does her own billing
*Didn't get mad, pre-double-root-canal, when I made her review my x-rays with the retired Steve Hinkis (who agreed with her impression and plan)
*When I was in pain, after the double-root canal, I called her up at 1AM and she was sympathetic, scheduled me for an 8AM appointment next day, figured out the problem, and relieved my pain
*Stutters, which proves she's overcome adversity
*Agreed to see my annually instead of every 6 months even against ADA guidelines
*Gave me a discount
*Sends formal reminders that don't fake intimacy, although I feel she knows me well
Have I gone on too long? Give her a call at 212-688-7677.

Even adults fear going to the dentist but Dr. Grun makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. He takes the time to answer your questions and concerns and really cares about his patients. He makes the procedures as pain free as possible and is an excellent dentist. I have also received referrals for an excellent periodontist or excellent root canal specialist. Highly recommended.

The service I received was a while ago, the facility was okay but not too private. It was okay nothing special. Though I got a bill from them saying I had to pay when in the agreement there was something else about it. The equipment is all there to do whatever is required, but I did not have a great experience.

Asprey has been making items for the British Royal family for many years now. The items on display run the gamut from leather briefcases, picture frames, flatware, silver serving platters and all other sorts of knick knacks that you might find in an upper class English home. The staff is great and the store is large and takes awhile to work your way through.

Another dentist works in Dr. Grossman's office and that is Dr. Jacqueline Winters and I appreciate her dental services very much. She never makes you wait in her waiting room too long - a few minutes at most and the cleanings are just as fast. She doesn't recommend unnecessary treatments and is always willing to answer questions you may have if you ask then or call her later. Her assistants are very friendly.

What lure me into going to this dentist is the price. Like what people alway say "Good thinds come at a price" well this place is totally the opposite. #1 their service is horrible. Very unprofessional for a dentist place. When i walk into this place there's no space to walk and theres always so much people their. (it's there cheap price) Rude assistants, just nicely ask them a question and they'll ignore you. Making you feel unimportant. #2 The doc. dentist skill is not all that great because they took my braces off when my teeth is still crooked! The reason i had braces is to correct that. Well , when i confronted them they said "it's like that". Better use your money somewhere else!

I hate my dentist. I really do. Actually, on second thought, it’s the hygienist I hate. See, I have sensitive teeth, so finding a good dentist can be very difficult. These guys hurt just as much as the others. But on top of that, the dentists are conservative Jews. This doesn’t bother me. I know you’re about to think I’m being bigoted. Let me finish. See, they’re Jewish but the hygienist is a born-again Christian. This also doesn’t bother me. What bothers me is that her room is plastered in biblical references and she always has the radio turned on to a Christian channel. To make matters worse, she has a Disney obsession, particularly with Minnie Mouse. Any where there isn't a Christian reference, there's Minnie. Maybe it helps the kids, but it sorta sickens me. So, I'm sitting in a chair in pain while being preached to and staring at Disney crap. If that's your sort of thing, great, but I'm changing dentists asap.

Like many people, I had a fear of Dentist, so tensions were high when I first went to see Dr. Alper. All of that has since changed. From the moment I stepped into the office i was greeted warmly by his receptionist, Heather, and offered bottle water. The office was cool, sleek and inviting. Dr. Alper was amazing; no pain with needles, his office is state of the art. He solved my challenging cavitiy problem with his very own technique and avoided me having a root canal. He put me at ease from the very first moment we spoke. Since then I have had my teeth whitetened, and cleaned and I have recommended highly to all of my friends. In short this guy is the real deal and he is a must see. And on a side note if it matter to any of you out there he is gorgeous!

Dr. Kirsch is a great dentist and I highly recommend him. He and his staff are very professional and extremely nice. I absolutely am terrified of the dentist but he and his staff make it a good experience.
I have also seen him work with children and he is great. It is no easy task to give a child a filling, but he makes the child laugh and he take the time to explain everything.
