What to do after dinner? Head to Chikalicious for dessert. Be warned this place is no longer a secret. Expect a few minutes wait. If you can grab a seat at the bar definitely take the opportunity. There you can watch as the chef prepares your dish. They offer a prix fixe menu as well as ala carte. Some might complain of the small portions but for the taste and presentation it is well worth the $. Pair your dessert with wine, coffee or tea.
Next time you have a date think Chikalicious.

Chikalicious has original, homemade desserts and is the only place I know of that allows you to order a three-course desser "dinner." The place is a little tiny, with only about two tables and a couple of seats at the bar, and a little expensive, costing about $12 for your three courses. But the dessert is just wonderful; the menu changes about every 3 days, so you can't even come back to try the others that you've missed out on. Also, since the place is so small, you can actually watch the chefs make your desserts in front of your very eyes. A very innovative, stylish little dessert joint.

Skip right to dessert at Chikalicious Dessert Bar. Three courses of tasty and decadent treats is what awaits you once you step foot into this restaurant. The portions are a tad bit small but what you get is absolutely delicious.
Plus, you can sit at the counter and watch teh chefs as they put together your mouthwatering treat, right before your very eyes. Fromage blanc island cheesecake and deconstructed tiramisu remain two of my favorite Chikalicious desserts but no douby you'll find one of your very own in no time.
If you suffer from a mean case of sweet tooth, this is the place for you.

This is my first 5 star rating review and let me tell you, this place deserves it. My husband bought me here as a surprise and after waiting in the rain for a 1/2 hour to get in, I kept thinking -it better be worth it. The place is as small as a restaurant can get. What they lack in size, they make up for in excellent service and darn good dessert. This dessert bar has a prix fix $12 menu ($19 if dessert is paired with the suggested dessert wine) and every dish is a mouth watering delight. You'll want to try all the "dishes" and at such a marginal price, you can. But don't try to make reservations, because you can't. It's first come first serve. And if you come after 8pm, prepare to wait outside for quite a bit. It's not a velvet rope thing. There is simply no room. But I promise you it's worth the wait. You'll realize how good it is, when your standing outside glaring at the slow poke eaters completely oblivious to your hatred as they slowly devour their pink peppercorn sorbet and sip on Moscati without a care in the world. Don't fret, in about 20 minutes, that will be you.
