Sharp American cooking and a remarkable wine list add up to one outstanding neighborhood restaurant in Tribeca. Chef Marc Murphy's modern American fare cooking is so spot-on that even the most familiar dishes are remarkably satisfying. The exciting wine list features interesting bottles and low markups. There are numerous half bottles on the wine list that are just fantastic! The restaurant features a daily pasta dish as well as an ever-changing seasonal menu. We have been there well over 20 times and have yet to have a bad meal!!!

this gem of a restaurant is almost a secret. they have a solid menu that runs from soups to salads to entrees. the waitstaff is charming and the atmosphere is relaxing. and in this small restaurant the tables are situated far enough apart so you're not having to compete with your neighboring tables to see who can actually be heard. insiders secret: the wines are reasonably priced -- one of the few restaurants in the city where this can be said. and save room for the tapas style sampler dessert :)
