Jonathan Adler designs some nifty little accessories for any fan of modern art and interiors. This shop give you a good glimpse at his genius. His work is marked by a sense of humor and attention to finishes. There are vases with sexy silhouettes and lamps with funky textures. Colors tend to lean to the graphic. Lots of black and white. There are lovely dining pieces (but I think it would be a bit excessive to trim an entire table in his stuff).

You want to throw out your IKEA furniture and take the next design step? Jonathan Adler is the name from which you should build on. I love this store as much as I love Jonathan Adler's product. Adler himself is a designer of pottery and has expanded out into home goods and accessories, including accessories and pillows, for starters. His aesthetic is contemporary, without being too stark, and a bit of fun thrown in. I'm saving up for a platinum fish sculpture of his, which would make a great conversation piece on any dining table. But aside from his line, this small shop features products from other lines as well, rounding an overall interior "look" by giving you options as far as tableware and furniture go. And like Adler, they have sleek but whimsical lines, that don't break the bank either.

This place has a huge selection of clever lighting fixtures and coordinating furniture pieces that can dramatically change the look of your home with just a few strategic pieces. The look is definitely more of the minimalistic to make the most impact, but you can add as much as you are comfortable with. Their design staff will help with suggestions that will maximize the space and existing natural lighting you have already
