I took my boyfriend for a dinner on saturday night.I book a gorgeous white organza tent which included a four course prix fix menu which we enjoyed a lot. The service was spectacular as the waiter knew everything about the menu and his recommendations were amazing! I completely recommend Casa La Femme for any special occasion and to REALLY impress your date.
Pros: The decor, the cuisine and the service
Cons: NOTHING

Don’t go to this place! Had an awful experience at Casa la Femme on a Saturday dinner. Appetizers took nearly an hour. When the main course finally arrived (another 45mins) half of our order was missing. Never got an explanation as to what was going on. The manager was rude and handled the situation extremely poorly. When we threatened to leave, we were offered a meager discount even though half the order was missing. On the way out, we heard of other guests complaining about similar issues. Can’t believe how an expensive NYC restaurant can be so disrespectful to its clients.

I went there on a rainy evening and was kindly told by the host that he would take care of my umbrella for me. I usually always keep my umbrella with me everywhere I go but this time I thought it would be safe there. Big mistake ! After a long and costly dinner ($290 for 2) I asked the host to give my umbrella back and I was told that there was no umbrella left for me. After discussion with the manager present there at that time we agreed that I would give them the receipt and they would pay me back through their insurance. This was back in July.
Today, 3 months after that night, after having sent the receipt to them, after at least 10 phone calls, 2 visits in person and one letter to the owner sent by certified mail with return receipt requested, still nothing.
Therefore I think it is fair to say that those people have no respect for their clients, whatever the amount of money they spend in the restaurant.
Total cost of the night for me : $290 (diner) + $275 (Burberry umbrella)
The food was not amazing.
Cons: The host steals expensive umbrellas

I finally found the most romantic restaurant on the West Village. The theme is Arabian Nights with billowy, tent-like seating. A belly dancer entertains. I had dinner there on Valentine?s Day, and I had a wonderful time. I?m so happy to have found this restaurant. The food was unbelievably delicious, the decor and service, everything was perfect. Such a fun place. I liked the bar area as well. Everything is so nicely decorated. If you are looking for an out of the ordinary place to eat, I suggest Casa La Femme. Don?t forget to try one of their signature cocktails - mango cosmopolitan. The friendly staff has a "let's put on a show" enthusiasm. The new location is terrific. It adds up to a dining experience that's more than the food.
Pros: Ambience, food, service

I was a customer of Casa La Femme on the Upper East so I was very impressed to see a bigger and better venue, the food was amazing as allways ( I really recommend the Lamb Chops with Couscous and the mazzas to start). The service was great as well and the waiters were very knowledgeable and made great suggestions. I am deffinitely comming back!

Casa La Femme is an upscale restaurant that prepares its guests a Middle Eastern fare. Expect the average entrée to cost over $50, and plan to fit the scene by dressing up -- on the nicer side.
Atmosphere: The establishment has an authentic décor. In general, the lighting is by the glow of candle flame. With seating for 125 people, the restaurant has a romantic atmosphere -- a favorite among couples.
More Reasons to Go: If you time your visit accordingly, you'll get to enjoy the ancient art of belly dancing in a live performance. Casa La Femme is appropriate (if not ideal) for entertaining clients, anniversaries and other romantic evenings. When weather permits, enjoy outdoor seating.
