Hands down best place to buy tiles in NYC - great selection and superior service. the store is organized as a case in point with many different tiles laid down everyone. you will find traditional to completely funky and modern. great sales too and prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality and selection. GO!

this is a really good place to go to lunch. they have rice, noodles, congee, etc. the food is really good. i like the roast pork on rice. they also serve hot dishes such as tofu and beef on rice. the food comes pretty quickly so if you are in a hurry than this is a good place to go. and the prices are not bad. it is pretty easy to get a very good lunch for under ten dollars. the only complaint i have against it is that it can get very busy. so if you are planning to go there for lunch, than make sure you get there pretty early to ensure that you get a spot. if you do end up waiting though, it pretty much will not be a long wait.

this place is ok, but the selection is kinda limited. i swung by here a few times when i was looking to do renovations to my apartment. the staff was helpful but i found they just didnt have the selection of say an artistic tile. the nice thing about park ave south is that there are a bunch of stores in the neighborhood so you can bounce from one to the next and do some price comparison, etc.
