This is certainly a better store than your City Sports or Sports Authority since they specialize in merchandise for outdoors and camping supplies. Can't exactly say they are the best in the area. Service can sometimes be slow and unhelpful. It's a coin toss whether you get friendly service or not. If you know what you want like I usually do, then that aspect may not bother you as much. Their prices are fair but not as cheap as some people may claim.

Norma Kamali has been a staple designer since the 1970's and is still the one place you can go for the perfect black dress or a flattering bathing suit. And the added kick is you get to actual speak with the designer herself. She carries a wonderful array of beauty products with sensual scents of rose and jasmine. And if this wasn't enough to make you stop in, she stocks my favorite product called Lovely Bubbly that comes in tantalizing flavors like Rose, Jasmine and Violet. Stop in for a sip and walk out feeling like royalty.

You can find transit on broudway right past the adidas store. When you go in you go through a turnstyle just like the subway and once you pass that you are in an indoor urban mall. all the brands you can think of are in your view. Lacoste, Le tigre, sean john, phat pharm, everything. Then you go down stared and they have the biggest shoe collection I have every seen. Probably over 500 shoes. the only one problem with this place is it isn't the best place to find deals. But if you are ready to pay full price for the things you want, and your into the urban lifestyle and clothes, this is the place for you.

Went to Scoop for the first time on Saturday. After taking my g/f shopping i figured i needed something for ME. Bought two pairs of seven jeans for about $340. Great jeans that truly break in as you wear them. My sales rep Chris was great, suggested some stuff, helped me find sizes but never pressured me into spending more than i was comfortable with. Highly recommended. Ask for Chris if you can. looks like they randomly have great stuff on sale so stop in often and check.

This jeans store has two outlets - one on 3rd and 86th and the other on 2nd and 43rd. They've got name brand jeans - Calvin Klein, Levis, etc. plus shirts, t-shirts and other casual clothing. The place is not fancy but they've got what you need at good prices. Why pay extra just for a fancy shop.

This place does carry the latest trends with rockbottom prices. I can't say the quality is all that great but then again how many times do you really think you can wear something trendy before it goes out of style. The last time I was there I found a great coral colored halter dress with a bohemian flair to it for only $20. Definitely worth a stop in once and a while on your way home from work.

I love their clothes. They're wonderful. You can find the hottest new trends or even find something with a vintage look. The people there are quite nice - polite and asking if you need help.. but also knowing when to back off if you're just looking. The only thing that is unsatisfying is the price. It IS rather pricey.

For a wide selection of really comfortable as well as fashionable clothing, this is a 'must' store to check out. Their sizing is generous, and their clothing is well cut to fall just right, and be comfortable as well as flattering. In the back, they also have a few sale items that are worth checking out.

Jeans were their mainstay but Gap has branched out to sweaters and casual clothes. After Christmas is the best time to shop Gap - when many clothes are on sale. This store has mostly men's and women's but few kids clothes. Salespeople are very helpful and courteous - they will readily check the stock room if you can't find a jacket or jeans in your size on the rack. Cashiers are now located conveniently near the dressing room. There are big sofas and magazines just outside the dressing room too. Gap credit card holders get 10% off the first Tuesday of the month.

I always find it a treat to walk through this store. Their selection is not huge, but enough eye candy to keep you flipping through the rack. Quality of the clothes is very good. Colors are kept in check with the times. Prices can vary, but for the most aren't too bad on the pocketbook. Sales staff is very friendly and willing to help you put together the perfect outfit for whatever occasion you need.
