At first, I didn't like Gourmet Garage because it was just a less beautiful shopping experience that other gourmet markets. Then I realized they carried all the same brands as Whole Foods, often for a dollar or two less. Now it's a major stop for me when it comes to my weekly grocery run. The selection is smaller, but it's good for your "gourmet staples."

It's funny how certain food store become your go-to point for specific items, and that's what Gourmet Garage is as far as homemade soups and pastas go. I really enjoy their soups, especially the Tuscan White Bean, and will stock up to keep them in my freezer at home. They make a great alternative to heating up a can of Campbell's.
The pastas are also good, like the goat cheese ravioli and the fresh pastas, like penne or fettucine mixed with one of their sauces. Prices are reasonable, but I would pass on certain things. This includes the seafood section, which was a little fishy when I got stuff from there, and their prepared foods counter, where the dishes just kind of look dried out and not very appetizing.

I love the Gourmet Garage! They have almost anything you could need and their prices are fair. They have a great prepared food section with fresh and attractive items. They have a delicious bread section too! Mmm! Bread! There is a great meat and fish section with fresh fish and delighful people behind the counter to help you. I am constantly impressed by how nice everyone is there. I'll go back again and again and again!

There is a big garage door as part of the entranceway but this is no second rate store but a reasonably priced gourmet food shop. There is a lot of freshly made food such as various types of fresh ravioli, soups, sandwiches/sushi as well as fresh mozzarella cheese. Buy the parmigiana or romano and grate your own - it'll be fresher and cheaper!, also a small selection of meats, good coffee and good soups. The display for the breads could be tidier but the sourdough is good. The flowers are affordable and fresh. There is also produce and fresh herbs abound. The cashiers are affable. Sale items are posted on big posters on the windows and inside on the wall so they're easy to check out.
