We hosted a wine tasting and tapas event for clients at SavorNY and could not have asked for a better venue. Craig and his team helped create a wonderful experience and I would absolutely head back with my wife and friends. The food was excellent and the portions were extremely generous. The wine menu was reasonably priced and had great selections (which Craig paired perfectly with our food). I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience and recommend SavorNY to all.
Pros: Charming space, great food, great wine and excellent service
Cons: Lack of a full bar

I really enjoyed this place. The service was very friendly and the food was great. The spanish tortilla was amazing, large portion so be careful how much you order. The atrichoke dish was yummy, with pieces of chorizo. The mussels were great and the sangria is great. It was a large place so if you are looking for a small intimate place might not be what you are looking for but it is a great place for a group. I have not tried the other location but would love to.
Pros: Food, service, value
Cons: none

Awesome selection of tappas, definitely try the jamon cerrano. The Sangria is great too, but be warned it's $32/pitcher which can add up quickly.
I have gone multiple times with groups of 3-6 and the longest I have ever waited in 15mins.
Great time for friends or co-workers, reasonably priced, definitely worth a trip!
Pros: Great food, atmosphere, sangria
Cons: None

I love this place, the meat is so good and I crave it everytime I think about it. The setting is also nice just to go with friends, only 1 or 2 though because it gets crowded and there is not that much space. I would highly reccomend this to someone though. I brought my girlfriend and we had a great time and enjoyed all the dishes.
Pros: quality food

Serving a variety of Caribbean cuisine from Cuban to Puerto Rican to Dominican, Salud captures the true essence of each dished served. The portions are great and the food is phenominal bringing your taste buds alive with every bite. The deserts were great and the specialty drinks like Mojitos are second to none.
For entertainment the Trio playing background Cuban music was excellent. We had a party of 12 and we all gave Salud a solid thumbs up!
Pros: Best Tapas in all of Mahattan!
Cons: A bit small and tight

I love this place! The food is so tasty, and the Sangria is the best I've ever had. The staff is very polite and friendly. Also, the restaurant as actually open from noon every day, not 5:30 pm as mentioned here. I went in the afternoon. I would imagine at night it probably gets a little tight in there. But the ambiance is nice too.
Pros: Food, Ambiance, The best Sangria
Cons: a few blocks from subway

I celebrated my birthday at La Zarza, and everything was just perfect!
The staff was really nice with us.
First we had dinner with half of my friends.
We ordered a bunch dishes (tapas and main courses)
Everything was delicious. The corn, the gambas, the empanadas, the calamaris, the assorted meat plate, the paella, the veggies canelones, etc
Also we had pitchers of sangria(blackberry flavor).
After dinner we stayed in the lounge, and the other half of my group joined us in our table.
We had such a good time. And we didn't spend that much money the had the beers at $4 and the drinks at$6!! That was the best deal ever!!
I want to thanks la zarza!!!
Pros: drink deals,the staff,music
Cons: ?????

We walked by this place one late night, saw the menu and finally went a few weeks later. We were upset that we hadn't gone sooner because it was GREAT. the arepas and entrees are delicious. The staff is so friendly that it feels like you've known them for years. The environment is fun yet chilled. The owner has been there the 2 times we've been in the last 3 weeks; and the 2nd time- he was our server! We decided it's a favorite restauarnt of ours and a place we'll take our out of town visitors. Try the mango juice w/milk; the Miss Venezuela arepa, el pepito, tres leches dessert, and the shrimp entree. That's what I've had so far and all was sooooo goooood
Pros: friendly staff (like family); delicious food; easy on the $$
Cons: None!

No reservations on the weekends leaves you waiting around for upwards of an hour sometimes, but enjoy the lounge seating along with some scrumptious empanadas and a caprihanna in the front bar section. You won't go wrong with just about anything on the menu whether is be a perfect churrasco steak or tender ropa vieja. The sweet plantains are off the charts! The staff is very friendly and attentive and never roll their eyes even after having to sing Happy Birthday 15 times a night.

The food at Kuma Inn is excellent. Everything we ordered was very good. Definitely try the muscles and the brisket. The chinese sausage is delicious as well. Do not go without making reservations. The place is small and cannot handle walk-ins especially on weekends. You might get away with it on weekdays. Don't expect too much as far as ambience is concerned. The restaurant isn't exactly fancy but is quite intimate. It is also BYOB, thats another great reason to go. Overall the experience was excellent and I will defintely go back.
Pros: Food, Service & BYOB
Cons: Small, so may be turned away without a reservation, especially on weekends
