Well-made wedding shoes 7/31/2006

If you're tying the knot, you must visit this store, at least to browse! They have one-of-a-kind shoes for your big day (or that you can dye for another occasion) that fit well, are ornate, and very unique. The shop is tiny, but has a wonderful selection and the service is excellent. Plus, they seem to have every size in stock! It's a bit pricey, but if you can afford it, hey, it's your day, go for it! more

Most New Yorkers think of Peter Fox in the context of wedding shoes, but they do more than carry white dyeable shoes. Although very pricey their shoes are exquisite and reference the past in innumerable ways from lacy granny boots and fabulous low heeled numbers that look perfect for a minuet. I dream of owning their stuff, it's so beautiful. more

If you’re looking for the perfect shoes for yourself (the bride) or your bridal party, this is a great place to go. My girlfriend recently got married and we all went to Peter’s and found just what we were looking for. Not only that but the shoes are well-made and fairly comfortable. They have lots of styles to choose from, and have an in-house dyeing service, which we needed (as the bride was very particular about the color!). more
