Ah, the comfort of a diner on 1st Avenue!
I have even many omelettes, burgers and salads here at Madison. I am a fan. They even let me substitute tomato for potato without giving me a hard time. That is what a good diner does for its patrons - "give the lady what she wants".
I am loyal to them even though I now live far away.

The extensive menu at Madison is just one of the many reasons I will go here for either Brunch on the weekends or really late at night if I don't want to go to bed just yet. The omelets have lots of variety, although they usually only have one or two ingredients before they get really pricey. The bakery options are a solid choice, and the waiters are always friendly with coffee refills. If you go at peak brunch hours, however, you may end up waiting.

Overstuffed sandwiches, good omeletes. Seems to be recently renovated and quite spacious for a Manhattan diner/coffee shop.
